Agreed, CHT is a pig. we just don't have the ram for it. use the manila slider.

I agree that CHT is a hog and waste of space, any chance you could release the version with the RSS feed widget as a beta for folks to test like you did for the 6.5.X rom?

Ok, I love this ROM, but I am curious, is there a way to set up data for when the phone is roaming? Data works fine on Sprint, but I get endless data connection errors when my phone switches to roaming. Says it can not make a data call. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any way to stop data while roaming, unless with another app, or for whatever that's accessing the data to tell it to not access it while roaming. For example, the Manilla weather can be set so it doesn't update while roaming; and so can the RSS Hub.

a good app for that is called "data controller". I use it to disable data when using the gsm sim slot on the tp2(that account has no data services). If I don't something keeps trying to access the internet and turning the screen on which kills the battery.

hello, i think this rom has been the ONE! so far... but i got a little problem... it doesn't do the automatic update on fb contacts... is anybody having this issue? I already hard reset uncheck, recheck the automatic update feature but nothing so far... any ideas? or solutions?

I've noticed that when I change versions of the contact tab or even the Facebook components, I have to go in the contact tab and re-associate my contacts with my FB contacts, and hit update on a couple of them. I do this the first time on a release and after having my contacts backed up, it's not needed even after hard resets. Hope that makes sense.

yeah it makes sense but, probably i didn't explain myself correctly, what i meant to say is that it does not keep updating like for example it's going to update every two hours but it just doesn't do it...i don't know what could it be?

Sprint Navagation????

I loaded the "LEAD" Sprint Navagation 2.1.42.0 cab and it was working for a couple days, when I entered a voice command for an address it would actually call a Sprint number and I would say the address and it would automatically pick it up and enter it into my phone navagation when I would hang up and give me the directions and GPS schedule....very cool!!!!....recently I tried to use it and now it says after it loads up......"to use sprint navagation I must pay either $2.99 for 24 hrs use or $9.99 for the month"....I have not accepted and tried to use it....for I do not want Sprint to try to bill navagation and then see it is for a Boost account which the end result might be them locking my account or something????

I already tried removing the navagation .cab and re-installing it, and still it does not work?

ANy insight would Help!!!
