data connection disappeared randomly yesterday. I just reprovisioned and it fixed things.

[edit]: When I reinstalled the provisioning it returned my phone to CDMA only mode. I am happy to say that tethering was not detected in this mode as it was in previous roms. So global mode is not necessary for stealth tethering.

is that entirely necessary? the ROM has probably reached perfection.

I bought an Evo Shift and switch back almost immediately without even activating

Alright, this ROM is just about perfect, but one issue i'm having is the phone will randomly switch between silent and normal profile modes without any warning, I will put the device to sleep in silent and then I will wake it up n find it in sound mode and vice versa. I've tried hard reset and the same issue happens, not really sure why, its kind of a bother though as now I have to keep putting my phone on silent and it may make noise when I dont want it to.

whay what up with Evo Shift? isnt it post to be almost the same thing as the TP2 but instead of window$ it has android? and i asume it should be the same or better as the regular EVO. yes or no?

Can't really tell when the release of the new ROM will be, but it's in the final testing phases. Just working out a few more kinks.

Never had this issue. The only time this would happen is if you're connecting to a headset and the volume switches to none-vibrate mode. If you have your profile set to automatic, this can happen when your appointments change from busy to free. That's all I can think of, but I'll watch out for this. Thanks.

I personally think the Evo Shift is a not all that great. No front-facing camera, slower processor, though, I think it's newer. Sure, you have the keyboard, but a lower resolution camera too. you pay less than the Evo for a reason, I suppose. I'd still rather get the Evo. If only they had a HTC Tilt screen phone on Android...

Thanks for the response, I'm still trying to pinpoint exactly what I'm doing when this happens, ill try out doing things with the headphone plugged in and out. Its not a huge deal just kinda worries me when I'm not sure if my phone will stay on silent, its just something that has never happened before on any ROM that I've done the same things on so its kinda confusing me. Hopefully with the new release I won't have this issue anymore.

No offense was meant for Lead, I just always wonder about the latest and greatest options.

One other question I have, is there a cab for enabling the RSS feed widget on the home page? I've tried the mobile undergdound one here without and success. It just messes up the homescreen and results in no RSS feed widget and no application shortcuts

I have a working Hometab with the RSS feed widget, but to be honest, there's still a few glitches here and there. I fixed a few things in the lua files, but some stuff still remains. I had planned to maybe update the home tab, but it doesn't seem like it'll be a good idea, since it might just cause people to have glitches. You do have the option of using CHT, but I personally thing CHT slows things down because it's not designed for the TP2
