odd issue, never seen it. Try flashing stock, clearing storage and flashing custom rom again, then clearing storage one last time. then provision and setup phone

How do you turn off 'automatic prepend' and 'vibrate when button is pushed? They aren't in the normal areas (or just won't turn off).

(forgot if this has been covered already or not)

One last thing....how can we turn off lock device if s2u2 is loaded?

Yes, you can leave them in....i've never removed my sim card and only remove the sd card to add .cab's.

Is your carrier (Globe) GSM, or CDMA??? You may wan't to check this out as this rom is CDMA...

Fusion,

Your ROM looks really nice. I downloaded and attempted to install it but every time I tried, I couldn't get the phone (signal) to work. It didn't seem to know I was on Verizon even after provisioning it to Verizon. Am I doing something wrong?

For the record, I have downloaded and installed other ROMs without issue.

Yes, that is normal...I'm on Verizon and have to do *228 every time I clear storage / hard reset.

So to update everybody. I'm back on the stock 6.5 ROM. Somehow in all the clear storage-ing and reprogramming, I lost the ability to call or send/receive texts getting, Verizon authentication error messages.

In searching the forum, I did find a thread that suggested loading 6.1, reprogramming and then go back to 6.5 but, that didn't work for me. In the end, I had to call Verizon and have them reset my account and resend programming OTA (which was also inthe post).

Not sure this will affect anyone else, but I thought I might let you all know. Once I'm comfortable that I'm stable again, I'll give Fusion another try.

Yeah.. I'm having nothing but problems here.. I'm on Sprint and flashed to this ROM and it's constantly freezing up. I did several hard resets and nothing. Now the texting problem too. Ugh.

Soft Reset fixed the speaker issue for now. I'll report back at end of the day with my findings. No Total Commander? :) Working much better this time around so we'll see..

Is there any reason why WinMo SMS is so unbelievably laggy during typing and opening messages? I've experienced this on every ROM, so I know it's not Fusion-specific. Just curious if there are any fixes to this.

WinMo sms or manila?

I personally find WinMo easier to use & quicker and the manila version slow and laggy.

not sure of any tweaks, I'll look into it though.

I appreciate your hard work and informative posts - when you update your rom, do you think it would be possible to have a larger font for the system like when I was running Mighty's roms - font is too small for me to see well - not a complaint just a request from someone with poor vision and thanks.

Sure! You can set it on my rom as well if you like it larger.

Go to Start>Settings>System>Screen and go over to the Text Size tab and move the slider over one mark to the right (second to last position)

I went ahead and switched ROMs. Mine was just too buggy and lagged. Dunno why. Maybe it was some of the other cabs that I installed alongside it. Thanks anyway. =)

Me thinks cookies as well....I like all of the CHTEditor options (although I use 3x3 cause it's helly faster). As you prob already know, there's an update to cookie coming (v1.7), but that can be cooked in later (hint, hint).

Glad to see you're planning a new release as this is one of my prefered roms!!!

I have purchased the Evo4G and will most likely be converting over to android rom building if I continue to do so. With the baby it's extremely hard. Thanks everyone!
