Does anyone have step by step instructions on the process to install this rom? I tried installing it and I got an error and this recovery screen came up.

There is no Sprint logo in Sense Manila 2.5 in the upper right corner so if you want this you will have to do some searching and edit the manila file for the top curtain. As far as the original Sprint startup GIF, I have attached the CAB below to do this and the animation will play through, however it still looks a little choppy. Don't forget to hit the thanks button!

Chris - noticed there's a newer sys out - 21901. Do you know what the difference is from the 21889 you're using?

First you want to go here and read the instructions carefully to learn how to unlock your phone: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93252. This requires that your phone be connected to a USB cable.

Second, this is optional, but a good idea. Go to this post to run task29 to completely wipe all remnants of your current ROM: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=116571 - Make sure you go to post 9 and download and use that program. This requires that you connect your phone to a USB cable. If you do this, the phone won't load past the splash screen. Take out the battery, reinsert it, then press and hold down the power button and the down volume button, which will bring up a tricolored boot loader screen. Reconnect your phone to your CPU via ubs then...

Third, go to the first post here, download the ROM and intall it using your USB cable.

Then you're set.

PS. Be sure to hit the thanks button for all three of the peoples whose programs you"ll be using.

FYI: a sticky is a series of threads that perminant. They are the fist threads intween the blue boarders.

Does anyone know why you cant log on to some pages for example bank of america. it say for security reason can't display page?

A stickied thread is basically a thread that's been stuck to the top of a subforum. Stickied threads are ones that are useful because they contain a lot of information of questions that a lot of people have. Its up to the mods/admins and depending on the forum, sometimes users, can help get a thread stickied to the top. More often than not, if you have a question about something, ie. unlocking your tp2, flashing it to a custom rom, you can find step by step instructions in a stickied thread at the top.
