I have all of this too as well as being almost unresponsive when connected to my cars Hands Free Link system. I can make/answer call but accessing thing on the phone in my car is slow. Rebooting barely helps either.

What is the easiest way to update the ROM with the latest enhancements so that I minimize resetting my options to my preferred values and installing supplementary programs?

You can use Sashimi to back up all your settings and install all your programs. Sashimi takes a while to set up the first time, but if you're a frequent flasher it's worth it.

Sashimi is almost a year old and designed for another device running WinMo 6.1 Will it work on 6.5 on the Pro2?

I haven't used Sashimi in a while. The only problem I remember reading about is a glitch when trying to install programs to the storage card. Other than that I think it works fine.
