What he means is that Sprint will no longer carry NFL Mobile as of Apr 22 (Verizon taking over), so the app is a waste of space.

Well, up and running in record time, thanks to the mirrors. Actisync worked fine with a new sync. The screen looks a bit cluttered but I guess that will work out.

I'll try to reinstall my software. I hope PDANet still works.

The question is... I have my phone unlocked.. running a custom rom, and I want to do this official rom update.. do I have to flash it to stock and lock my phone prior to doing the official rom update?

Has anyone that has installed this updated noticed a difference in the radio? It went from 1.96 to 2.32 in the settings.

That is already answered many times in this thread, but no you don't. Mine was hard spl unlocked before, and it still is now after I ran the Sprint RUU through ActiveSync.

No you don't need to flash back to stock or relock. Just run the exe file.

Cannot believe this!!! It even has sense 2.5 and all the other goodies! Running smooth and fast as hell!!! Yep...Poor verizon got the sense 2.1 so yes...this was well worth the wait!!!!!!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

This ROM update has fixed the MMS problem that I was having with T-Mobile and Vodafone in the Czech Republic. Also I am continually connected to the faster HSDPA towers instead of the GPRS towers here in Prague. A definite improvement in the radio as far as the GSM service goes. I will be anxious to see how it performs while in the United States in a few weeks.

hope bare bone version comes out soon. 45MB of program memory free after the flash just doesn't feel right....LOL

I'm running some tests, but it looks like the Rhodium Keyboard Config tool doesn't work at all with this rom. After i installed it, none of my hard keys worked, and opening the keyboard didn't rotate the screen. I'm hard resetting now to make sure it was that cab that broke it..

Yup, it's the keyboard config tool.

Can anyone else verify?

EDIT: Looks like I may have screwed something else up, I manually installed the sdkcerts.cab and the keyboard config cab, and now they work... So ignore this, I guess.

I had the same problem. Someone told me to do a soft reset after the flash - it's up to 90 now.

(Never saw that behavior before!)

I was responding to the OP. I'm not saying Comcast is the culprit at all. I tried every link that was put up before going to a mirror and had the same results. However, in the vicinity of where I live, Comcast does seem to hamper more than help. Not sure if that's the problem the OP is having per se, but I always have problems with Comcast and their speed.

Hey guys, anytime you flash a new rom, its always wise to go do a "Clear Storage" immediately after the first boot up. It will make these little problems that people are having go away. (memory issues, slowness, etc)

I myself am waiting to see what custom roms form off this rom, I will flash it before my next custom rom flash just to take a peak at this new rom from Sprint.

I have it working fine, and all I did was install, and let it reboot when done. The CHTeditor works great too!

I do feel like it slows down the device quite a bit tho..

do we need to install all the same tweaks that was needed on original stock rom? I remember seeing a .cab file that contained a bunch of tweaks, like tethering, enabling all camera modes, etc.

Has anyone noticed there green led flashing constantly after the upgrade. My does and I can't find anywhere to turn it off. It doesn't even let you change that setting in notifications any more. It's grayed out. Any thoughts?

This is different. As I said in my post (many pages ago at this point!), I did a flash, hard reset and had 78MB of free RAM. A soft reset then made it 92.

Since then, I've tried several combinations of flashes and hard resets, but only a soft reset gets me 9x MB.

I've flashed a lot of stock and custom ROMs and have never seen this!

Can anyone clarify this? On every WM6.5 ROM I've ever used (official or not - I also have an Intrepid) there is the ability to switch between the "classic" (old) lock screen (left softkey, then * or on-screen button) or the new WM6.5 slide to unlock feature. The poster above seems to indicate the slide to unlock feature that comes standard with WM6.5 is not present in this ROM update?
