Here is a stand alone version of XDA_UC. It is a bit different that what it used to be before. Here is what you need to do to get this setup! Click on XDA_UC and it will take about 20 seconds to initiate the UC.

• Extract the contents from the below download, and put it in the root of storage card
• Add your cabs, regs, xmls, and manila files to XDA_UC folder
• You will see that there are more folders in XDA_UC now...
• Use copytoroot for any files you want to be copied to your device, ex If you want to copy a file to My document, then create a folder called my documents under copytoroot and put your files in there
• You can add cabs to manual folder, and it will prompt to ask where the cab to be installed
• If you add cabs to storage card, then it will install in storage card

If you dont have XDA_UC in storage card, then there wont be any icon under UTILITIES>TWEAKS

Just downloaded V8 and most bugs are fixed except one! When I press FN and the browser key (left arrow) I get an error. Btw, this is on the sprint version of the TP2 if that makes a difference.

Maybe it is just me... but where the heck did the "OK" button and start menu buttons go...?

Its not just you! Thats the way GTX version is. You your back buttons to navigate. If you want the OK button back, then go to Utilities>Tweaks>Tweaks, and tweak it there. You will have to restart to enable it back.

Im having one problem with the black rom V8. I cant change the weather wallpaper. The animated wallpaper works just fine but the weather wallpaper always reverts back to the default wallpaper. I want to use the fractals weather wallpaper and it just wont seem to change to it or any other weather wallpaper for me. Should i just try a hard reset or should i flash it again or is it an issue with the rom. Everything else seems to work just fine.

No you dont have to. It wont change because of the custom background I have for all tabs. I will post a patch soon...

Okay, thanks for the info. i really didnt want to do a hard-reset and i especially didnt want to reflash V8. I look forward to the patch. Thanks alot.

Install the attached cab, and restart Manila. No need to restart the phone. Then select any wallpaper for home tab.
