wow..this kitchen looks so overwhelming compared to ppckitchen but that was like almost 2 years ago that i last touched a kitchen. but so far so good. building a rom with scott's stuff plus or minus some

Scott nice to see you back. I miss you but why are you not using 6.5? do you not like the cool things the new build brings like the windshield wiper for the weather.

The ws wiper is related to manila, not the build ...

Scott,your kitchen is really great,no issues at all,thanks for your hard hard.I do have a question for you,is it possible to include Sense 2.5 as an option in the kitchen?I used to use Calk's 6.1 kitchen w/Sense 2.5,no issues there,but I prefer your kitchen towards more Sprint stock build.Thanks again.

I'm starting to think the reason the stock Sprint rom worked so well with coreplayer and TV out (no blue flicker) is because of the version of touch flo 3d. (version 2.1.38416.1)

I wonder if someone stuck 2.1.38416.1 on a 6.5 rom, if the blue flicker issue would go away...

1-23-2010 - Initial Release

1-24-2010 - Updated to 1.1 - Corrected the batch file for XP users. No longer need seperate batch file. Added .NetCF 3.5 instead of 2.0. POSTED A ROM FOR THOSE WHO DONT COOK!!!! Wooohooo!

I was going to play around wiht that this weekend. I will let you know how it turns out.

just want to know if plus code dialing work in this kitchen and if your contact show up on your sim without of to import contacts thanks

It works exactly like the sprint stock rom works. BUt I am not sure about the plus code and the sim contacts. I dont have any contacts on SIM and have no need for plus code dialing. Can anyone answer?

Scott, you have given me the idea of doing what you did. I would like to do a simple kitchen. Since I am on cricket...I need a Generic simple kitchen. I have a Verizon phone, so I dumped the stock verizon 6.5 rom.

I got it working but need to know all the things to remove to make it a carrier-less rom. I have removed some things for it that I know about but I still get things like:

* have Verizons contact info in the contacts list.
* verizon name in the right corner of the manila clock
* verizon still in the connections settings(my cricket carrier EXT isn't cooking in or the verizon carrier stuff is overriding it)

If you could PM me a list...I will hit the thanks button:)

Been looking for a rom like this. don't like the 6.5 interface. just need stability and speed for business. . . not eye candy.

IM not going to go through all that. Thats why I just used and stuck with a Sprint stock ROM. Sorry man, not going to get into all this. TOo much. I will tell you to look at ProvXML files for most of the info you want to change except manila.

would love for u to include sense 2.5. have you looked yet? i flashed the basics rom on my guy's tp2 and he loves it but he's wanting more :-( hence reason i ask for sense 2.5. why is it so hard to satisfy a guy that's not into ppcs? odd, isn't it?

Crap, its not working. Let me flash a stock rom to make sure its not sprint. They had SMS issues yesterday. Could be sprint but I dont know. Anyone else send MMS from this ROM/Kitchen?

I think this is a great 6.1 Weather clock ROM that is not too heavily customized. Very similiar to sprint stock ROM. Very stable. Right now I have an MMS send problem that I am looking into. Still not sure if recieve is working right but maybe someone can test.

well the prl updated just fine but the profile update errors out, and maybe we need to try a sprint carrier cab ??? IDK but i cant use MMS at all send nor recieve.

Fixed the MMS and Update Profile issues. Hope to upload a new ROM / Kitchen tonight. Need to test it a couple times to make sure its working as it should.

1-25-2010 - Updated to 1.2 - Fixed MMS settings. Made small kitchen clean ups.

Tweak for Weather Clock Manila Start Menu
If you would like the Manila start menu download the attached cab in POST #2, run it, soft reset phone. I personally like the old school WM 6.1 Start menu. This is for those that want the manila start menu.

Scott - so far i really like the ROM. I've tried serverl, Energy, Mightyrom, Neodium and a few others. So far I like this one the best.

Quick question though, is there a way to increase the file size of a pic mail. Right now the max is 300K. Just curious if you had a cab out there to increase that. I seached, but didn't see anything. Thanks for your help.

I tried sending a pic mail and it said "failed". Do i have to change any of the server settings?

Been wanting to go back to a stock ROM to using SPB mobile shell. Will try it with this. Thanks.

Any way to change the pagepool to 20/24 without cooking it? I read someone saying it felt sluggish at 16.

Thre was a small bug that I had to fix for Pic mail. Its 1000K now in version 1.2. You should upgrade. I just put it up about an hour or so ago. Check it out. Sorry for the bug ;c(

No, I made the latest version 20 megs and its not slow. BUT if you want to go to 24, which is nice, I included the page pool changer with the ROM. You can change the page pool before you flash. Its in the folder and is called of course Page Pool Changer.... Let me know if you need more info on how to do it but its very straight forward. Load NBH file into Page Pool changer, change page pool, save changes. Flash.
