Hey all, not to bump this thread up but I was wondering how do you find the PRL information on the X Rom? I received a text from Sprint a few weeks back saying that there's a new PRL and for me to update. Has anyone received the same thing?

I tried searching for the info in this thread, but couldn't really find anything pertaining to PRL except this post from August (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-u...ml#post1926837). Would I be able to update the PRL using that cab?

start/settings/system or did i miss the question, ive never once in my life updated either and i never have issues.

Thanks for replying darren, I don't see the path to go to PRL after system, I've got "about, clear storage, auto vol control... etc etc", but nothing that goes to it. I do see I have version 60654 for the PRL. I haven't updated anything ever since installing this rom. I'm willing to give the PRL update a try as lately I've been getting horrible reception, can't catch a signal, dropping calls.

sounds like a radio issue maybe, which one you using? may wanna try some out.

Ur wrong...it sounds like a radio issue...he may want to try some other ones...

The radio version I'm on is 1.96.00WF with Sprint.

Thanks for the reply. I've never flashed a radio before and I don't want to brick anything (I bought it outside of Sprint so there no warranty whatsoever on it). I've been reading the radio thread but 35 pages in out of 50, my eyes were starting to roll.

I read that to flash the radio, all you need is to be Hard-SPL unlocked? So any person using a TP2 that has a custom rom on it should be able to flash radios without any problems right (with the exception of the Sprint Test Rom)?

Chances of bricking are very slim....I only say slim as a warning...I have never seen anyone brick on TP2...I flashed my radio over 30 times on my TP2 and never had an issue....its a fast flash and very painless....as long as you are unlocked you can flash any of those radios in that link that Darren provided...
