Re: {ROM}{23563|6.5.5}{4/24}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

check this out about gfxboost and try for yourself---I always load straight after flash so I have no reference....but if someone can load and report on its effect, that'd be appreciated

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509704

really does seem to help with MS

Might be a placebo effect. This is on the author's first post:

Update: it may still have _some_ effect with the Topaz, but I don't think anyone has seen any improvement with the Rhodium, so don't bother Seems the drivers on those devices are quite a bit faster already than the older MSM7K devices

Re: {ROM}{23529}-2/8/10-Formula SPB MobileSense 3.5.3 / 6.5.5

couple questions, for anyone that can answer them.

1: i am using a security and sim unlocked CDMA TP2 on AT&t, is there any conflicts? currently on my CDMA NRG rom it took quite a while to get working data (edge only, but thats a hardware issue).

2: since SPB mobile shell is a trial program, can i assume that manilla/sense is cooked into the roms that do not say "lite" on them? if i don't like mobile shell i would like to know that i will have manilla/sense if i choose to not purchase a license.

3: from what i have heard, mobile shell makes you choose a city/location. is this true, or is there any way for mobile shell to detect your current location the way HTC Sense does?

4: the download seems to be an .exe file. this rom doesnt load through RUU?

thanks for any help i can get with these questions. i would love to flash this rom, but i would like to know what i am getting into before i get started.

1 - Shouldn't be.
2 - No Sense - You can drop out of Shell and use Titanium.
3 - If you mean the weather gadgets, then yes, it does static settings - no GPS driven lookups
4 - It's just an exe version of a .7z file. It decompresses into an RUU

Flashed and ran through my Sashimi script. Everthing looked good. Pretty responsive, decent ram usage. Tried to send myself an SMS and worked fine. Sent my self MMS and it said it went, but never rcvd. So I did carrier provision. Before rebooting, I went ahead and did a little extra clean up (remove JDB Lockscreen, SPB Time, restored my SPBMS screen layout (from mskip backup)) and went to reboot.
Device bricked at that point and wouldn't go past HTC boot screen. I reset a few times and battery pull to no effect.
I put in manual flash mode and am re-flashing now.
I did not do the flash dance, so that may have been my problem.
This was likely a FlashDance issue. It happened again this morning on my own ROM.
