Also, for the life of me, I have no idea why the sync speed is so slow. In fact, very slow. Using Win7. the initial Outlook sync takes at least 15 to 20 minutes. Other ROMs, with virtually the same software loaded, take maybe 3 to 4 minutes. No idea why the slow speed...I don't change a thing on either my PC nor the phone.

As always, great looking ROM.
I'm seeing the slow issues as well. Although im not syncing outlook data, My device is now synced to Win7 and I'm copying a 160MB file to the SD card and it's taking 20 minutes. This should take 3 at most.

Maybe a usb driver issue?

I will look into this, I know if connected via WMDC and I transfer anything to the device it always takes forever, but if your in storage card mode then it should not take that long.

This is from my OEM registry of MobileShell, when i used to have touchpal cooked in. I have not updated my reg yet, the icon is only a ghost icon (not really there in the real start menu). This will be revamped on my official 23534 build with updated MS Layouts.

I had usb syc problems with version 3, but with the beta version its working great, just copied a 160 mb file in 2 mins. to my storage card via usb. Outlook sync takes about 10 seconds, but thats only doing contacts. do you have faster data sync turned on for activesync? I know it says to uncheck if your having problems but it is working great with it on for me now.

5 opera pages? lol.. dude this rom for being 6.5.3 is gracious on ram. Especially with all the flash and icons you get in the UI... I haven't had any apps closing etc. So you can't open 10 opera pages so what?

btw formula everything is working great for me. I didn't have synch issues with the beta myself. Copy/pasting files onto the device works good. Rom is stable and battery life is amazing. It is quite easily the best battery life of any rom on this forum. (in my experience) I was only down to 50% yesterday after 16 hours of moderate use. (few phone calls (1hr maybe?). playing music with s2p for 2 hours or so. several texts. browsing. configuring apps/playing with phone. browsing for an hour or so. I even had my wifi on and mapping network drives for 30mins or so. Unreal..

No more lockups, but haven't been using 9.7 either. Only opera 10.. too bad it didn't work out with it being default. That would make this the most flawless rom for these devices to date... I wonder what would happen if i make skyfire my default browser.. hrmmm

Oh I forgot. I did have one spontaneous reboot doing a keyboard close. I can't remember what I was doing though when it happened.

Formula,

Now that the syncing issue has been resolved, I want to say that this is the BEST custom rom I have installed - it meets my needs 100%.

Thank you very much for your time and energy on this.
