THIS IS A VERY NICE ROM. GOOD WORK!!! but man does it eat up memory...leaves me wit 64mb left to use ouch

If you close mobile shell you will have over 100-115MB free, MS customized this way with backgrounds and Widgets has its price and its RAM! I have not had any ill effect of this though it operates very smooth and stable and I never have memory issues as long as i dont keeps every program open...lol

Yes, it seems spb is a memory hog, Opera bogs down and throws a not enough memory message after browsing about 5 pages. Does anyone know of a way to get spb mobile shell to use less ram?

5 opera pages? lol.. dude this rom for being 6.5.3 is gracious on ram. Especially with all the flash and icons you get in the UI... I haven't had any apps closing etc. So you can't open 10 opera pages so what?

btw formula everything is working great for me. I didn't have synch issues with the beta myself. Copy/pasting files onto the device works good. Rom is stable and battery life is amazing. It is quite easily the best battery life of any rom on this forum. (in my experience) I was only down to 50% yesterday after 16 hours of moderate use. (few phone calls (1hr maybe?). playing music with s2p for 2 hours or so. several texts. browsing. configuring apps/playing with phone. browsing for an hour or so. I even had my wifi on and mapping network drives for 30mins or so. Unreal..

No more lockups, but haven't been using 9.7 either. Only opera 10.. too bad it didn't work out with it being default. That would make this the most flawless rom for these devices to date... I wonder what would happen if i make skyfire my default browser.. hrmmm

Oh I forgot. I did have one spontaneous reboot doing a keyboard close. I can't remember what I was doing though when it happened.

Now that the syncing issue has been resolved, I want to say that this is the BEST custom rom I have installed - it meets my needs 100%.

Can anyone confirm that Wi-fi Router App is working? I activate Wi-fi Router, but computers cannot find the SSID?

Wi-Fi works fine for me I just tried it and I'm currently running the app to respond to you...

I meant five clicked through pages, not open tabs. It seems only opera 9.7 has a problem with the memory, 10 works fine without complaint. Tested this beta for several days now, havent had any problems yet.
