I hate auto complete and T9. I just turn it off, cause it makes me angry. You don't want to see me get angry. http://holyrollerproductions.com/wp-...dible_hulk.jpg

It's exchange 2007. Yes, I am an admin. Although I try not to touch it too much. It's not my area of expertise. I can fumble around most things, but I leave the nitty gritty to a good friend who is certified in everything under the sun.
Speaking of carrier provision, I'm not sure if this was the case before provisioning, but it doesn't set up the network credentials right (it leaves them blank actually), so I had to go in and manually enter the login and password for vzw3g.net.
Unless provisioning does something besides MMS, I likely don't need it either. I almost never do MMS anyway.
I don't think this is a 235XX issue, as the last Calkulin Build you did was a 235XX and it ran great.
I will re-flash in a bit and NOT do carrier provisioning and see if that changes anything.
What about OTA programming, I typically do the *228 thing with VZW to make sure I have the latest PRL, etc. Any reason not to do that?
To give you an idea of what kind of problem this is: I can be at the home screen with 75M free. I press the green send button to bring up my dialer, and I can count 6 seconds out before it displays the dialer. Once the dialer is up, I can make a call OK.
Swiping between MS screens and pulling up the start menu, etc can vary anywhere from quickly to a second or more between action/response.
All the while, active sync is pretty much locked up and not delivering e-mail.

Zaphod-Beeblebrox,

Have you had any luck getting the loaded ROM to work on your Verizon TP2? I loaded it; however, my phone bogs down bad within a few minutes and no visible apps running. And I just have a basic bellsouth e-mail with very few e-mails attached to mine. It looks like the Sprint guys are rolling just fine. I love the look and the options, but as you mentioned before, I feel like I'm running my old Mogul! Any suggestions for a Verizon guy would be greatly appreciated?

-Dennis

NOTE: Disregard, I just realized I loaded 23563, not 23569. I will try that one and report back.

I don't think this is a SYS problem. I don't think there is much difference from 23563 to 23569 on the OS side (I think Formula made a LOT of tweaks and cosmetic changes this time around though).
As mentioned, for me the problems started when we switched from the Calkulin based kitchen to the RaidZero Kitchen. Formula said he got about an extra 10 MB with this switch, which is important. I think, however, that RZ must have some tweaks in there that don't play well with Verizon.
Are there any other VZW users in here using the ROM? How is it going for you?

turns out the increased ram is more or less due to the fact that Raid's kitchen is using platform rebuilder rather than visual kitchen. I have been discussing this in the chefs corner group kitchen thread. I have disected all of raids tweaks and pretty much at this point am just using his script to compile using PRB and all of my own everything else. I am still using some of his cool thing like his titanium CPRs and his baseline carrier select and generic carrier base.

Maybe it has to do with this I can try using my old calc based carrier things and see if it makes a difference to you verizon users, can probably have something out for testing by tommorrow....

Formula,
Do you cook MobileSense into your ROM via EXT/OEM, or do you install the cab on first Boot?
I created an EXT and am flashing it (and SPB MS). I would like to change the menubar from Espresso to SenseUI style. Having a very difficult time finding the necessary files to copy from Naong's version into MtStmp's.

I use my custom Created EXT I do this by simply making my own, whenever I redo my layouts or add widgets, change anything I do the following.... See this post

So are you starting from Naong's base or mtstmp's? I remember reading a while back that mtstmp's version didn't have the memory leak that Naong's did. I would like to avoid the memory leak, but really want the senseui menu bar.

I stopped using Naong's version a long time ago. I never could not get the changer to work properly would crash all the time after loading it up with different theme's. Decided to keep it clean and Use Mtstmp's version and have not looked back.

You could try this, install the Naong version, install the Vostrodomus Tool from xda, use the backup menu bar feature locate the backup file and use for your EXT using just Mtstmp's version.

Good idea. Will try.

Since you are in the Query mood  - My SPB layout involves one page dedicated to nothing by contact shortcuts. When I 'restore settings' (or try to flash my layout), the shortcuts show up, but they are pointed to random people in my contacts list.
I don't know if this is related to the fact that my contacts are on my exchange server, so possibly any unique ID changes each time I re-flash/sync?
Any idea how to make my backups keep that specific contact info?
