Thanks! I got the BL loaded, and it is working good! Honestly the best ROM I have used.

Formula, can you tell me any of the 'tweaks' that are in the baseline kitchen that weren't in the Calkulin kitchen?
I flashed the Loaded ROM (did task 29 first). Did the carrier provision. Loaded my exchange server certificate and provisioned my e-mail account. After 20 to 30 minutes on a clean boot, the 'services.exe' file starts taking 80% or more cpu time. This has been a pretty consistent issue for me since you switched from Calk to RZ Baseline.
When I cook my own version of your setup (admittedly without the polish of your roms, but a basic SPB mobile shell/Mobile Sense setup), I don't have that issue. Of course I'm using Calk's kitchen.

Thanks,

Mine doesn't do that. Are you using a Mogul with this rom?

thats wierd man, i know that the 235xx builds because of threaded email use a shit load of cpu when syncing for the first time and sorting. But after this it should settle, i use gmail and have it setup via active sync exchange connector works great and never have had a problem. what version of exchange? are u an end user or admin? I am a consultant for 200 + networks with a mix of 2003, 2007, 2010 exchange so i could test a few clients with the same version as you + self signed to see if i can replicate it. Have you tried without carrier provisioning, i dont even install a carrier anymore generic is great unless you have too.

Re: {ROM}{23569|6.5.5}{5/11}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

It's exchange 2007. Yes, I am an admin. Although I try not to touch it too much. It's not my area of expertise. I can fumble around most things, but I leave the nitty gritty to a good friend who is certified in everything under the sun.
Speaking of carrier provision, I'm not sure if this was the case before provisioning, but it doesn't set up the network credentials right (it leaves them blank actually), so I had to go in and manually enter the login and password for vzw3g.net.
Unless provisioning does something besides MMS, I likely don't need it either. I almost never do MMS anyway.
I don't think this is a 235XX issue, as the last Calkulin Build you did was a 235XX and it ran great.
I will re-flash in a bit and NOT do carrier provisioning and see if that changes anything.
What about OTA programming, I typically do the *228 thing with VZW to make sure I have the latest PRL, etc. Any reason not to do that?
To give you an idea of what kind of problem this is: I can be at the home screen with 75M free. I press the green send button to bring up my dialer, and I can count 6 seconds out before it displays the dialer. Once the dialer is up, I can make a call OK.
Swiping between MS screens and pulling up the start menu, etc can vary anywhere from quickly to a second or more between action/response.
All the while, active sync is pretty much locked up and not delivering e-mail.

Re: {ROM}{23569|6.5.5}{5/11}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

Ok, I cleared storage and the only things I did this time were set up my exchange account. It ran good for about an hour, so I un-installed Lock-screen and SPB time. Ran good for another hour or so. After that time, I had a couple of SMS messages come in, and sure enough, services.exe is using 80% cpu and the system is doggedly slow again.
I didn't even restore my SPB layout. I do have a large number of contacts that get synced from exchange (almost 700), but this has never been an issue on other builds.
I'm baffled. Everyone else seems to do so well on this ROM, I don't know what could be tripping me up.

Just as a test only thing I can say is Ill sync up to one of my SBS 2008 Servers running 2007 Exchange for a day and blast it e-mails and sync contacts to see if it happens to me...

For you maybe you can setup a GMail account and use active sync with gmail, really easy to setup, google it lol. If you don't get the problem maybe it has to do with your server/account your syncing with strange as I have never once had an issue like your describing.
