How much trouble would it be to make your taskbar for Win 6.5 with an HTC lego for the start menu?

Im trying out Win. Mobile shell but I love your taskbar but its not compatible with 6.5

Btw. Ive used Slide to unlock and its a stable program and very user friendly. Just my 2 cents

Attach the Logo pic on a post and I can do it a 1-2 mins.

There's still a lot missing from the old verizon cabs like assisted dialing and possibly something that's used if you're in Europe (it had dial codes for countries). That being said it appears to be stable. Definitely better than just the mms provisioning.

I'd say go for it. If I can figure out the rest, we can apply it next time. If you're concerned give me a link to the rom and I'll test it before you post it officially.

Regarding VZW provisioning, unless you've done something beyond the carrier provisioning, your hard Keyboard will still be mapped to the sprint version and you're keyboard favorite "star" key will not be progaramable via the settings>personal>buttons method. I've been working on a provisioning file and will post it here. Use it at your own risk (ominous huh). First go into remove programs and remove tjELITE ArcSoftMMS then run the cab after a soft reset. Thank you for the info - I just figured out that the Max software included in this ROM has a locker built in. All I have to do is turn it on and then simply tip the phone upside down to activate it. Very cool. (See post #881 for a link to the Max homepage with instructions). The more I use this ROM, the more I am finding to like!!!

As for the VZW keyboard provisioning - I don't think I'm going to attempt it. I never used the favorites key, even on the stock rom. I also find that I don't even think about opening the keyboard now that I have installed Swype (a cool data entry tool). Unfortunately, the Swype creators have requested removal of most of the cabs and links from the forums as this was apparently not intended to be distributed software.

ok jstine . just noticed when getting a call, if u look under the task bar the skil doesnt go all the way to the top. it sops just short of touching te task bar. leaving just a glimpse of the screen it was on when call came in.



ps. for got to add, this rom roks. took off the charger at 6:30 am, surfd sum about 10 or so text and about 20 calls. and its 10:30 pm and only down 30%.

Help... woke up this morning and phone is acting a bit strange.. battery charge was about 70%.. sitting with text screen.. was able to check my text of about 4 messages.. exit back to main screen phone locked up. reboot, phone started up to HTC Sence then froze at that screen.. Data link connected and a few text came in.. I can go to them, read and exit back to start menu.. no home screen. then back to a lockup.. Can not make a phone call... This is the first I've seen of this type of problem... any help you can offer before I do a hard reset to see if things clear up...?

Did you install any new programs? If so, what one's. For something like this to start, has to be a misbehaving program. Did you add a new skin to sms/mms?
