Swipe down on the home screen to enter Maxmanilla settings. Hit the up arrow and look for the box the says "Notif" and change that to "N" and they will appear. If you head over to XDA-developers and search for Maxmanilla, It will explain what all of the settings will do in there. Hope this helps.

The only time I find that the file explorer freezes is when I am in subfolders of the storage card. It sems to be random and if you wait it out, it will fix itself. Anything else I do with file explorer does not cause this lockup. Not sure if this helps, But thats my experience.

mine is set to n. i would go bak to 3.2 but. 1 main program i like wont run on it. but u know wat im talkin about. the icons right above the program tabs. calls text calender and mail. that were on 3.2.and ty justin cant wait for the new rom. cause i luv ur work. so far the best ive used.

I think you maybe want to set the "Alert" to "NS". That setting is on the first page of the Max settings.
