Regarding xtask, is there a way to access it from the taskbar, or do you need to open up the program. I know you can set the start menu to be xtask and then select the tab but I just wondered if it can be accessed from a hot spot on the taskbar etc.

no such luk with the cab says downloadin sits at 0%. maby u can fix it in the next update i guess till then bak to v3. thx for tryin.

Not that I know of. The program is new, so maybe the writer will create something in the future. The program QuickMenu works, but is not easy on the eyes for us old farts. e-Natives is ez to use, but problems of it's own. Until M$ comes out with a final release, nobody what's to spend 40 hrs designing a program that might not work on the next release.

ok weird issues. happend twice now all of a suddon got no sound, and cant talk on phone cause they cant hear me and i cant hear them.when using file explorer depending how long im in it. it freezes the phone causein me to remove battery.so far other than that runs awsome.

Well, I did find that I could touch the taskbar in the middle and "drag" to the main window (mid-upper left) and it would open up the taskman view. Not really finger friendly (would work better with a stylus) but if you use your fingernail...

Still not sure about the mms issue. Does any other VZW users have this (message expired or not available) issue?

Edit: +1 on the file explorer issue but I can hit the reset button inside the battery cover. It's not like the last file explorer issue in that it happens when scrolling but it seems to happen when you change directories (in my experience)

Suntopper: are you saying it did work at one time, just not sure which version. I'm using the same files as before. In V4 I released it with Calk's All Carrier cab, but not V4.1. Same files from V3.2. Maybe I need to release a version without any carrier. Then the user will need to install a cab for data connections and mms.

Did I read that correct, you are using file explorer will talking on the phone. That one test I never would thought to try.

How do you flash your phone? Active Sync or by SD card. I've seen that kind of problem with a bad rom. But that's not case with 4.1. Flashed 5 times since yesterday without the phone freezing at any point. At this point, I would say to flash back to the stock rom. Due a hard reset x's 2 (AKA The flash dance) then try flashing toV4.1

I'm not sure what to think about this one? If it didn't work while I was on the VZW 6.5 ROM today I'd say it was a server issue. When I started out with your roms (way back), I would check the phone, sms, and mms first and then start loading programs. When I did this I could send myself a mms sucessfully. I don't remember exactly when I stopped doing this, but I went all the way back to v3 when I was troubleshooting this AM and I couldn't receive a mms. I can send them but can't receive. I can go back further (I have every ROM that I have downloaded still) but just gave up this morning.

I'm pretty sure it's not the ROM but I would like another VZW user to verify this. It's not even that big of a deal for me. I've probably actually sent 1 mms since I've been using your roms. But as they say, it's the principle of the thing!

Edit: Ok, I flashed back to v2 all carrier with max 3. I know mms worked on this when I tried to send one to myself. I get the same "message expired..." error on this rev so I'm assuming it's all related to VZW or my unique situation (whatever that is).
