[UNLOCKED-RADIOS] - - 2.32.00WU/2.23.00WU/1.96.10WU Radio Unlocked for US Networks

May be an issue with the 2.23WU radio and VZW. I flash ROMs regularly with little issue. Recently I flashed to the 2.23WU radio and then flashed a ROM from Calk Kitchen 1.4 and got PPP Connection Error 11, and no VZW data. Finally found solution in the forums and called VZW tech support. Had to disconnect my phone from the network, and reconnect. Once the phone was working again I flashed the 2.23WU radio again and had no issues. Flashed Calk ROM again and lost data again. I just got my phone working again with 2.23WV radio and flashed Calk ROM with no issues.

Anyone else even try to do this?

So that I understand this thread, if I never use the SIM card on my TP2 (and this is a Sprint TP2), I don't need to upgrade the radio to 2.23?

you cant upgrade the radio without having the sim unlocked, which you have to pay for, so you wouldnt do it unless you had a reason to. So no, theres no reason for you to upgrade unless you plan to use gsm towers.

hey ppc geekers iam on 2.23 with att sim card .but i get no data dialed #777 error.for those of u who are succesfully getting att data what rom and what settings are u using..??tanx in advance

I am on VZW, but all I do is go into my Verizon Wireless data connection settings, and
1. Add a new modem
2. Name = MediaNet
3. Select modem = Cellular Line GPRS/3G
4. Access Point Name = wap.cingular

Press next and finish, no username or password. Should default to auto-select modem.

FYI - #777 is the VZW modem connection.

OK so i am a MORON. Flashed without unlocking, now have my tp2 stuck in bootloader. Any suggestions guys?

Re-flashing a stock radio should get you back up and running, anybody have an answer to my post from yesterday?

I answered my own question, by taking the leap and purchasing the unlock software from olipro. Went through the unlock process, and flashed to 2.2300WU just fine. Will test new radio for the problems other people are raising, but I have a feeling everything will be working just fine.

Remove battery, replace battery, let it boot up. It should boot to your previous rom. Then do necc. steps to load rom ie 'unlock'.

I think I got my question(s) answered by reading. So if want to use GSM networks, I need to have my SIM card activated before using that unlocker, right?
