another touch of info. go to the cdma forum (where you see all the roms listed) to the right of thread name you'll see a small paperclip. this is where all of the uploaded cabs, photos in that thread are stored. if you are looking for something, that is the first place to look. look in multiple threads and you'll find virtually everything you could want.

Re: Jan.03.VINdows ROMs (Neo All in One update Radio 2.37 WV)
A bit off-topic but do you know if there is a app for window mobile that is similar to unlocker 1.9.0 where it could unlock a corrupt file and allow you delete it? I have a couple of mp3s that just could not be trimmed using mp3 trimmer so I ended up going with audacity and then transfer it over to the ringtone folder. Now I want to delete it (redit the mp3 again) but it won't let me no matter what I rename it as. Is there anyway around it beside hard reset or flash the phone again? Thanks
Edit: NVM...I guess closing down active connect and using total commander worked fine. Was able to delete both of the mp3s. Mp3 Trimmer is still quite picky regarding which file it allows to save. Is there any other program that worked like Mp3 Trimmer for Window Mobile...or is Audacity still the best route if Mp3 Trimmer failed to edit a file? I am jonesin' for a new VINdows ROM. I don't know what I would want more, a Plutonium release or a Neo but either one would be great.

Do I have to specifically unlock the radio in order to update it if it's already cooked into the rom? I am on a Sprint TP2

no, a radio flashes exactly like a rom. Since radio's don't change often, they are usually not included in a rom. Also, some radios work better in other areas. I'm in Seattle and the 2.35 works better for me than the newer 2.37 if you flash Vin's, you'll get the radio upgrade, every subsequent rom will most likely NOT have the radio, therefore, the only thing you will be changing is the OS |
