[ROM] Plutonium,Neodium,Titanium [21916,28244]

Im very excited about the new generic release without the cookiemonster cooked in.I havent upgraded to any of the new Plutonium roms since 7.5 and that was because all the newer build until the latest always had the Cookiemonster cooked in.and i personally dont like the cookie app.Im downloading the latest generic rom with no cookie and with no Sprint stuff cooked in.Which is exactly what ive been looking for.Thanks for releasing more than one version of the new rom.I think now youve managed to please all your rom fans/users with the current releases.Finally one rom with cookie and sprint stuff and finally a version with no cookie and no sprint.A perfect rom for me.Especially since im using my TP2 flashed to Cricket so i definetly dont need any of the SPCS stuff and i personally am not a fan of the cookie app thats been in the last few builds so this one is perfect.Thanks alot for always improving on the romand not just making only one version just to suit your needs.It makes me feel a little better when flashing someones rom who actually tries to please other people and not just themselves with the roms they create.Keep up the excellent work and thanks again for another great rom.

oh i found the above interesting. i'm going to edit my prl back to the previous 60659 and test to see if i get less battery spikes. perhaps this is the real battery killing DEAL

I am not sure about how to follow those instructions on downgrading PrL but if I flash the 6.1 version of the Sprint stock, then vin's new Plutonium Sprint, then flash new Sprint radio - that should give me the older PRL - is that right and thanks.

I'm curious about that too, although I believe it will flash to whatever the PRL is on the newer radio, not sure which PRL it is though. I haven't flashed the ROM but I did flash the newer radio (but stupidly also updated my PRL) and although it shows a bit higher mA use, I haven't noticed it to be too much worse.

then follow instructions to get your MSL: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87414
then go to start, tools, Ninja PRL... enter your MSL and edit your PRL by browsing to the file. make sure you unzip the PRL file that you downloaded

this is the time to use the tools included in vin's roms.

• go to start menu
• then go to tools
• then launch Ninja EPST
• then hit view
• it would load bunch of values.
• hit menu and select prl.
• new values should load and it will tell you which PRL your running.

from initial test, i found that PRL is the killer. the new sprint rom should give you the new radio and the newest PRL 60662. this PRL is definitely no good. btw, you can use old PRL with new radio, this doesn't really matter. if you want to know more:

i have proof of all this too. last night i charged up my phone til the phone showed 100% charge and the green charge light came up. I went and changed/downgraded my PRL to the previous 60659 and let me phone go on standby overnight. 7 hrs and less than 7% battery drain on standby mode.

also i have screenshots of test i did with acbPowerMeter. I found that battery was much more stable and stayed below certain values. also there was less spikes since the radio isn't always polling/searching for best towers. if you don't believe me you can run acbPowerMeter for 10 mins and see if you get values like me. if you don't, go and change ur PRL and redo the test on acbPowerMeter.

btw this test took me 45mins... testing before and after PRL change and also rebooting the phone to make sure new PRL stayed. values of these dropped from before and after by 20+mA (avg value). btw in the after pictures, you will see spikes at the end, this is because i was hitting touch panel and trying to launch my screen capture tool

Yet another problem...
When I switched to TP2 from Vogue,sprint changed my MSL #.
On vogue I used baf msl grabber to find out msl
On tp2 baf msl doesnt work.Which tool I can use on device?
or should I search for cdma workshop?
