Finnally got my push gmail working on this rom..!!!

All I had to do was instead of setting it up through activesync like I normally do. I went to the settings tab and tapped Microsoft Direct Push under wireless controls and set it up there. Been working for me since yesterday..

Just an update. First, my Exchange server at work uses OWA for remote access (not sure if all Exchange servers are set up that way, but that is how ours is). Second, I have tried a number of different ROMs, and some work for my email and some do not. The ones that work are: Medium Hill, S3, Chris-Sprint-Lovers. The ones that do not are Neodium, Mr-X, Energy. So far. I get a message when I activesync that says "The server could not be reached. Support Code 80072ee7". In looking at what that code means, it seems to be saying that the server address is not correct. But, it is, and it works fine on the other ROMs I noted. BTW, these ROMs that work use various UIs (Titanium, Sense 2.1 and 2.5).

So, as much as I would like to try Neodium, I cannot use it if Exchange email does not work. Any other ideas? I have not tried the beta-7 Neodium yet, but this was true for V1,V4,V5 and V6.

thanks. That seems to fix the problem. Also the alarm now seems to fix too when I uncheck "Sound alrams even when the device is set to silent or vibrate" and "Today timeout".

If battery life different between v5 and v6,7 I know what to do.
I think battery % driver works pretty good on my ROM

This is not a big bug, but it's nice if it's fix. On the firt bootup after a flash, it ask for your time zone. If I change my time zone to -6 Central US, the time does not change correctly. I have to manually change the time. Anyone having this problem?

Do not adjust time after flash.It will autoupdate the timezone after customization.
I cannot skip that thing,its part of the kitchen xip.(ppck specific).I asked them few times and no answer how to skip it.

I cannot test it...
Its part of the sys,and the sys is the same as on v5.I just selected it in the kitchen as usual.Its gonna be hard to find a fix unless somebody made a standalone cab.
If its important for you,I would flash back to previus ROM.

I would like to just say how happy I am with this ROM so far. I came from MightyROM to V6 of this ROM and and really enjoying it. Mightymike is a master at his craft of cooking ROMS, yet there was one issue that kept bothering me across varies versions of his ROM. While working within my text messages, my phone would constantly hang. Sometimes it would be up to 8 seconds before it would finally respond to my touch. Even with me keeping my inbox lean. I understand he has to make a ROM that works with varies carrieres and that could be the reason for the problem. So far I have not had that issue with this ROM. Thanks for your hard work on this ROM VIN
