Anyone have some hack/CAB to disable weather animation on the Today screen only (not on the Weather tab)??

Thanks vin for clearing that up. I am on neo, so i'll remove those hot fixes.. Other than what i mentioned were really the only side effects.. But if i don't need them, i'll take them off.

I think darren posted a cab a few pages back for no weather animation. I havent tried it on the new rom from vin yet.

Change your wallpaper to "animated". Then simply choose any regular wallpaper and set it (no need to find or use an animated type). This will disable your weather animations in the home screen only.

Yup I normally did that, but I'm using the Background Wizard to select wallpaper so I needed another way. Found the CAB in the paperclip of the thread, works great!
