It all depends on what is that you expect to do with it. Before Vin won me over with his Sense ROM I ran "basic" Titanium with Notifications plugin (icons for text, MMS, email, missed calls all in one plugin), TitaniumWeather (a very good weather app that provides more info than Sense weather does), FavoritePeople (dialer), JMLStocks (stock quote app) and some of the default stuff. Combined with a decent Start Menu replacement it gives you lots of RAM and speed in one package. There's also a few Launcher plugins (stopped using them because they sort of duplicated Start Menu), CTwitter etc. There's not as much development as for Sense but it's a very mature and useful environment in its own right.

There's also a few fancy themes with different clock etc. but I can't vouch for them - for me Titanium is all about memory & speed so making it mimic Manila didn't make sense.
Thanks a lot! I really dig the panel with the icons, is that an App launcher? I've seen a few and wondering which one you are using there, that would basically be all I need as I've set up the Start Menu as a quick-links type replacement as well.

It's JMLLauncher.

However I stopped using it, since it takes just as much time to open start menu.

I also have a problem making calls, but it seems that the problem only involves calling to a couple of my contacts. If i manually dial the number without area code, the call will go through. I have had plutonium installed for about 2 days. Coming from months of using Mightyrom, I was looking forward to something fresh. I have no idea what phonex is. Anyways, hopefully someone can figure this out. It also seems like my signal strength jumps all over the place. I really like this rom. If I can't figure out how to fix this, maybe I might just try the neodium rom. Is there a list of the problems with plutonium?

EDIT: I just figured out I can't make the calls to any of my contacts that are linked to a facebook account. Might it have something to do with me using the fb tab?

Re: 03.03.11 Titanium ROM updates (21916,28244)

OK, I need some help with Sense-based Neodium (2.10).

I received a voicemail yesterday. However I didn't find out until today. There was no VM indicator anywhere until I reset my phone 10 min ago. Then I got the notification at the top of the taskbar.

Where is the Voicemail indicator ? I thought if you got vm there was an indicatior on the calendar widget ?

It's been a while since I've used Sense, and even then it was CHT. So may be this was a CHT issue. Anywhay, what are my choices (short of installing CHT) to make sure I know I have VM when using Sense ?

Re: 03.03.11 Titanium ROM updates (21916,28244)

If using sense there should of been in Icon in the top taskbar. My guess is it was probably a network issues. Sometimes the network screws up and you do not get voicemails right away. I would leave a voicemail on your phone and see what happens.
