But, there's something wrong with Sense on my TP2 with this ROM. The clock flips and swipe of quicklinks is somewhat jerky / laggy, especially as it slows down closer to the end of movement. Almost as if I was using stock ROM ;). I re-installed 2.10 and it's night and day - very, very smooth. I tweaked it a bit and now it starts with over 103 mb free RAM (before I load up the launcher tab with icons, anyway). So, I'll stick with this one for now, whatever you did with it was magic ! Thank you again ! |

Just picked up the EVO for my wife------so efffffffing jealous. I sense my TP2 may "accidentally" slip out of my hands in the near future.

Re: Feb.10.2011VINdows ROMs
Awesome roms, I'm currently using the Bare NEO rom, AMAZING rom but I'm having a couple of problems.
1) The volume button isn't working while in a call, as in I cannot change the volume. 2) I can't silence a ring, perhaps that is related to the issue above. Is this a problem of the dialer/lack of one? Thanks |

Re: Feb.10.2011VINdows ROMs
I been using the 2/24 rom since yesterday
I haven't noticed any problem except ez input keyboard, which I dont use And the Sense sms does not scroll up, like in previous rom, So I assume your using same packages. mayby updated Sense sms would make a difference. I don't use it, instead I install CHT and assign Sense Home Screen, to use native messaging, I think your hard work on trimming images has been neutralized by using newer Sense core. EDIT: I still have to try Feb10 to see mem use. Since new Sense core gives no real benefit, and actually uses slightly more mem. Mayby instead use previous Sense core, but try newer Sense packages with it? I guess HTC is not designing Sense to be slimmer or faster, because the native device it was made for can handle it easily, But what da h*ll do they update it for? I see no benefit at all, mayby some slight navigation/scrolling difference, but I still can't tell why bother to lose memory.. EDIT: I just noticed a calendar popup on homescreen, but it is only to change the date..dumb. could be more tiny changes, I decided to stay on this rom longer just to see what the difference is. |
