With iconchanger (in tools).It's over 100 icons,proly easier to flash different ROM

thanks Recursion for trying out and giving us some data on the droid front...I am curious as to the advantage???? android market? faster? more mem??? but if you're having to reboot????????? I'm glad you've got the bolts to test and not me. My beloved TP2 would end up like 99% of my other phones... Rapid deceleration syndrome while contacting an immovable object...while screaming "Wife---shut up, I'm 'tweaking' my phone. It accidentally slipped out of my hand."

To which she replies "You A$$, you'd better be good with tape because this is the last phone you will EVER own."

I would try droid package, theres lots of doors opened with it plus you still keep your tp2, win/win imo.

LMAO@yer tweaking! YW, bro...but it's really not that scary since we're going off the sd card, and can just reboot to go back. The real heroes are those messing with their NANDs to get us an sd-cardless solution. Advantages? Market for sure -- there are tons of apps. More memory for sure -- I can always get about 110MB free when I close apps. Faster? Not so sure about this one -- moving around is a little clunky at times, but I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that we're running it off an SD card. Once we're flashable, I think it will be way faster. It's not bad now, so don't get me wrong. And you can even OC, which I haven't tried yet.
The rebooting thing is mostly when I want to get back to WinMo. Random reboots are rare, I've only had it happen once and had one lock-up -- since I've been running it for 3-4 days now.

And if yer lost, you can always ask questions. Folks in the android forum are very cool with answering. It is a different animal than WinMo, but certainly not unexplainable for the most part. Yeah, my "STFU NEWBIE" post was obviously a joke...very cool folks ever there doing a lot of hard work for our benefit. I'm predicting 90% of us will be running Android on our TP2s before much longer. Inevitable. Resistance is futile!

Ditto...it's a win/win. Can't really hurt anything except ... if someone text's you a vid/pic when you're in Android, it'll get lost. At least that's what happened to me, I think.

The battery life with the new update (Feb.10.2011) is really bad, the battery dies on less than 1 day, I'm going back to Jan.03.Neodium, but i want to try the Dec.20.Pluto, and when i decompress the file there is only one file inside the folder, How can I install it?
