Youtube app: When I used this app it has no sound and would freeze up while watching a video 5 second into it causing me to do a soft reset. Happened everytime and tried many youtube videos and the problem still persists.

Opera: I dont like that it will not rotate with the g sensor. I know there are apps so you can make it rotate, but i would rather have the app have the capability without a 3rd party app making it rotate.
Also this freezes about 10 minutes into use.

For both issuse i have hard reset and reflashed the rom. Nothing has worked.
Just giving a heads up if no one else has used these apps with this rom. I want other people to try it and see if its just my device with that rom. I am using MightyRom right now and have no problems with both of these apps. Maybe it is the version on this rom.
the Youtube app problem is a known issue that is posted in my second post! i am working to find why is doesnt work and if i can 1 replace with a verison that works or 2 make a work around that will fix the problem! i think it has something to do with the 2.5 manilla on top of 6.1. right now 2.5 is running on the 6.1 base packages and i might need to change some out for 6.5 packages!!

my opera works fine no lockups at all. but i disabled the rotation but u can manually rotate if u hold down a click and select landscape mode! i disabled it because for me it would rotate at the wrong times so id rather do it manully!!

also what rom are u using? second post or third post? we still havent merged roms yet!

This sounds like an interesting mix. I like 6.1 for it's speedy stability and like 2.5 manila. I may wait for an update and hopefully some little fixes with that. I'm currently back on oem 6.1 vzw. Really not looking forward to reconfiguring everything again unless(hoping) a good update happens. Definitly something I haven't tried yet.+++++
Hmmmm. decided to give it a go last nite and after the DL the file said corrupted when I openned it. Did I do something wrong? Got it from post 2 . Is there a better place to find it?

u shouldnt have to open the file that u download! its the actual nbh file used to flash various parts of ur phone (ie used for radio,os,boot splash) so all u need to do is download then save somewhere! then u can do one of two things:
1. use the flash for sd card method found in my sig!

2. flash using a blank ruu via your computer!

also u will love the mix of 6.1 and 2.5 its as fast as the stock 6.1 verizon rom but added manilla 2.5!! its a win win situation!!

I thought it was in an ruu, and I was trying to go from there. I'll try the sd card method. Never used that method before so I'll be following your sig info.
Hmmm....sorry, dumb question: do I DL from the phone then to my sd card cause that many mb's would take forever. I don't have any kind of card reader that I can attach to my laptop. This is new to me so don't laugh to hard please.

u can copy it to ur phone from ur laptop using a usb cord via the usbpopup in the stock rom or via activesync!!

this is a big file to download straight to ur phone but if ur in a good service area it shouldnt take very long like 5 or 10 minutes
