I flashed this rom just for the updated radio and found it to be quicker and snappier than ALL custom roms. I see the enlarged the slider as well. Being my first Real smartphone I have been a MightyMike fan since the unlocker came out. NOTHING can compare to the speed of the stock 6.5 VZW rom though...

question: does it give you those same annoying steps as stock 6.1 did?the whole screen alignment etc. etc. i really hate that.
also did you need to be HSPL unlocked in order to flash?or is it shipped?

It sounds like the only advantage with the Verizon upgrade is that there is better signal reception. Are there no other enhancements that are noticeable?

Are there benefits to go from TF3D to Sense 2.1?

It seems a bit faster to me. Pretty smooth.

Screen Alignment is no longer necessary, although you can re-calibrate at any time if you are experiencing problems.

You do not need to HSPL to flash this ROM. It is designed for the Verizon TP2, and digitally signed by Verizon.

im really torn. i flashed the new radio which made a nice difference in reception, but the only thing i would want on the new 6.5 would be the clock weather and gps weather. is there a way to get only those two things without flashing the whole rom?

So Verizon's official site for releasing updates posts a file and you don't think it's official? Why haven't they sent out a notice that it isn't? From a product liability standpoint, it's in their best interest to give notice that their vendor released an "unofficial" product.

It's pretty well known that Verizon reps aren't always totally informed.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing this is the "official" MR1.

I agree with you. If it wasn't official than a locked phone would not be able to install it. I am unlocked so can't test that theory, but just my .o2 cents.
