The key should be set to Sprint or just deleted in its entirety. It currently is set to Phone as Modem which causes the remote party disconnect errors, or often hangs on waiting for network.

Long Press End Key is toggling Flight Mode.

I was just logging on to say the same thing. I thought I changed that, but I forgot I reflashed. Glad i'm not the only one who had that brainfart.

I think I may take the leap and install this ROM since it sounds so great.

I have a bunch of text messages on my TP2. Is there any way to back them up/transfer them so that they can go back onto the phone with the new ROM? I'm currently running an early MightyROM 2.1 release. I did a forum search but didn't come up with anything.

you can set microsoft my phone to back up your numbers, txts, calendar, etc...thats what i use for everytime i flash, altho i stopped backing up my txts because i didnt really need them i realized. Works great though, and this thread is definately worth it, really smooth and stable.

this is because the long press end key is set to switch to airplane mode. you must of held the end key down for an extended period of time. in the next build, it will default to bring up the menu.

I didn't see the force roaming option in the network settings. Is this the way it will be for this ROM? I know it was included on your TP Roms. I'd hate to have to go cry and whine for a Airave.

you can change it now as well, just goto settings, personal, buttons, and hit the long press end key tab at the bottum.

this ROM is great. for once i can disable sense and still use htc messaging with mobile shell (before i had to disable htc messaging with a cab in order to use texts with another interface)... is this new with R5 or has this capability been there in previous releases of this ROM? If it's been there then i've been missing out!
