+1 - This always works for me.
Make sure to do a soft reset afterwards. From there, your new icons should show up as you hoped.

To clarify my response - Before soft resetting you will have to re-do your icon adjustments again.

Yeah, I'll check it out for you.....is provisioning in it or do I need to find a VZW provisioning cab (any help with that would be great)!

EDIT: Also, it's just the .nbh, sorry I never flashed just the .nbh, only romupdateutility, I'll need a few instructions

If all else fails read the sticky threads. Theres a sticky on flashing and flashing from sd card.

Yeah, just read it....going to try it now. Task29 then flash. What about provisioning?

So far so good....DAMN, this thing is fast!!!

I take it provisioning is automatic as it came up with Verison already and I was able to make a call. Doing the normal, clear storage and will keep checking it out.

EDIT: No issues so far

its based off of a verizon carrier. telus should just have to run their provisioning cab.

Id love to test the new verizon beta rom but I can seem to get it to open it after i download to get to the update utility. Am i missing something?

It's running good on verizon....just follow the steps 0 - 6 here on flashing from the sd card...

First step after dl is to extract the .nbh file to you sd card (do not put it into a folder), assuming you know how to put your device into boot loader mode, it will automatically load the rom. Again, just follow the steps in the link provided.
