Off the top of my head, no, but I'll look into it for the next release.

What I suggest, if you haven't tried it already, is to use the Manila Stat Menu (physical Start key) as a quick launcher and use the Win Key (on screen, lower corner) to launch the default WM Start Menu. You can drag icons to where you want them in WM6.5.3, making it easy to organize--that gives a nice 2-way launcher that I generally prefer.

Wow, totally didn't know those brought up two different launchers! It would be nice to have something in touch flow, but having the quick launch manilla from the physical key isn't bad for the short term. Thanks for looking into it =). I am curious, if you install that pre-populated quicklauch menu linked on the first page, would that replace the one that is customizable?

I have a question/request on this rom.
is there a way to have the current day calendar events show up on the main screen?
The calendar icon is there but it will be nicer/better if rather than click on go to the calendar tab the day remainders will show up automatically there.

Couple of quick q's: Is there any place that I can set the weather update timing? Otherwise, what is the default timescale for updating the weather? On that same note, I noticed that only rarely will the weather animations move across the screen. I am curious, what is the trigger to make them go?

I am using Lock Device 1.6 as the default lock screen and I am wondering, is there some setting I need to change such that the background image that is set on the touch flow pages shows when on the locked screen as opposed to just a black background?

Is there any way to delete sprint nav and nfl mobile once installed? They don't seem to show up on the remove programs list...

Finally, does anyone have a regular and spider solitare cab file? They seem to be missing from this rom.

Otherwise, really enjoying the ROM Mal - very nicely done =)

google the game, its around. the weather updates every 3 or 6 hrs, i forget which one. to activate animated weather, tap top right where it shows what mem ect is. (tap and close)

Excellent ROM, extremely quick. TouchFlo is smooth and fluid. Just wondering if anyone has noticed choppy scrolling in long emails?

now that's funny.. you tell me to do a "simple google search" and you send me a bing search result.. very interesting if you ask me.

i did the search and found wrong cab files. i also tried juicy's cabs and they didn't work either.

but the google search thing was very funny with bing results

Have any of you tried Windows default yet? Check out the WM native contacts look normal when you open it but pick a contact lots of changes there. Sliding panels is smooth I use Home customizer from the Marketplace it has a lot of nice panels that can be added. Well any ways its nice to have choices I get tired of Touch Flow sometimes. This ROM handles both very well there are a lot of changes to the native WM apps you wont notice them till you turn off Touch Flow.

Use the WM native email setup and you wont have that issue it only gives you an error if you try to set up hot mail through the Touch Flow interface.

Yeah, I don't have MS Live installed by default, however that can be installed via Marketplace.

I'll have a small update coming probably in the next 48hrs. It's lots of small changes/improvements/fixes, should be great.

i love the sound for the speakers but can something be done to in call volume? i have the cab for it( for got the name for it) but i dont want to install it cause i dont want to override the tweaks you did for the other sounds.

GTK, will remove the warning. Was being over-cautious ;-)

Screen lock is dependent on WM6.5 background. Open Pictures & Videos, select image, make background. That'll change the Today screen background (not Manila) and lock screen to match.

No setting for weather timing anywhere. Only 2.5 has that. I think it updates every 2 or 3 hours. But it is finicky.

To make weather go, try Dialer/End key. But sometimes I noticed they stop after awhile <shrug>
There is DEFINITELY a lag in SMS and EMAIL. Already a fix which will be posted in the updated ROM probably Monday ;-)

A few updated HTC apps, fixes and a couple little tricks. No big new apps or anything--ROM is pretty solid, just fixing the little niggles now.
I find call volume quite loud now, but can look into making it louder. Attach the .cab and I'll take a look at it.

No 2.5, sorry. As much as I like it in theory, I just can't deal with it's slowness, now landscape in the Twitter app, etc. Just not meant for this device, so 2.1 it is.

Im aware of this issue, and just have not fixed it because it breaks sprint apps on some roms if i fix this issue. a work around is to simply run your email xml setup via fdcsoft task-manager again and this will fix the mail account. This is an issue with the modle ID changing from the time you used the xml to set up your mail to the time you install the cab. the model id of the device is changed to ensure sprints network sees it as a sprint device so you can use there tv software. There is no way of fixing this with out breaking sprint tv on any rom that does not cook in the sprint modle id. So i have left this in.

Use the work around i suggested. :smile:

Mal, this is a great ROM! One question I posed earlier today which got buried in the thread - I have excellent performance on this ROM in all areas except scrolling of email in the WM email application. I've reflashed and tested a few different things but cannot find any cab that would be impacting this. Any ideas on how to smooth the scrolling in native WM apps? TIA

Yup, I know what it is and it's fixed in the new version, probably coming Monday. You should see a big difference...it was bothering me too.
I think I may have fixed this. Turns out the Sprint model and USC was also in there...I think that threw it off.

This is a great rom. Nice and fast and stable. i have recommended it to a friend he loves it too. Unfortunately i do not like Opera 10, so i switched. I did however really like the rom other than that.
You have done a great job and look forward to f;ashing more of your roms in the future. I was totally impressed with it. Keep Up The Good Work. Thanks again for giving us the chance to try it out

What are your thoughts on finger keyboard Mala? Any upside in including the standard SIP rather than fk?

Switched ROMs or browsers? Because I'm pretty sure you can just install Opera 9.5 or 9.7 and it will become the default browser and you don't have to worry about 10 at all.
Never tried it, but will look into it.
Hmm, I already have AudioPara 2 installed in this ROM. Will see about the other versions.

Thanks for the GREAT rom, two quick questions:

1. in the hd tweak, there's a light sensor option that can be disabled, I assume that is the feature tha turns the screen OFF when you put the phone to your ear? If so, the disable is not working because after i hit disable (which is what I want) the phone still turns off when i put the phone on my ear.

2. the auto-lock feature in hd tweak is not working either, i enabled it but when i turn off the screen and turn it back on, it doesnt ask me to slide to unlock?

Can't wait for the update Mal, though I did just get everything running smooth with 1.0 =). Definately my new fav ROM. Glad to see you are going to stick away from 2.5....I tried to make it work for a long time but at the end of the day its just not made for the TP2.

opera 9.5 or 9.7 both load fine over 10 and it will become default and you can still use 10 from startmenu.

thanks! cant wait to reflash...i was running juicy 6 without any complaints even though there was alot of tweaks to get it right. this rom is great...once the txt lag is fixed itll be perfect!

p.s.s. if anyone is looking for different variations of the action screen head over to xda and search for action screen. theres alot of different versions with color..more tabs...and an 18 panel action screen in development, currently beta.

This looks great. I was gonna go ahead and download/flash while at work until I saw the warning about notification sounds. I guess I'll have to wait till I get home, but this really looks interesting. Perhaps I should just wait for the update tomorrow and flash when I get home tomorrow night.

Mine works fine too.

This rom is very stable and the attention to details is amazing.

I have been using this one for a couple days and the only thing that I notice was that after a day of usage the Bluetooth pairing didn't wanted to work until I reseted the phone.
perhaps it was one of the extras that I added.
