When on speaker phone and I plug in headphones: I lose the mic built into the phone. On every ROM prior to this I've been able to use my CD cassette adapter in my car to broadcast my caller through the speakers and it would pick my voice up through the mic in the phone. I can hear my caller, but that person can't hear me. Same holds true when plugging in a stereo wired headset with mic, its the 4 pin 3.5mm jack kind.

The other thing is Windows Marketplace not working, it installs but doesn't connect. This really isn't a big deal to me though.
Actually I have been having this problem (headset jack) with mine as well. I don't think it's the ROM or even software, though. I think the headset jack on this thing is a piece of crap.

I'm so happy with this ROM that I'm inclined to just hard reset and use the same ROM. One thing that makes me reluctant to change is that from what I understand this is the only ROM that works with IGo8's text to speech. I know for a fact that TTS did NOT work with Mighty Rom ,but Malatesta's do.

Just installed this rom. But find that the sense calendar is not in sync with window's calendar. I made some new apppointments on Window's calendar but it did not show up in Sense calendar. Anyone has the same issue?

I've had similar problems, but this is typically just a long delay. If you go back to the sense calendar after waiting awhile I think you'll find the entry there. Can you confirm?

Re: |MalROM|WM6.5.3 (23518)|WM6.5 (21889) [Feb 3rd]

Got a question: For some reason my menu in landscape has changed to 3 row smaller icons instead of the larger icons in the 4 row arrangement. Happened once before and a HR did not fix so I reinstalled the ROM. In both cases this happened after opening the photo option in Palringo. I won't do that anymore, but is there a way to go back to the 4-row large icon menu without reinstalling the ROM? I am running the 6.5.3 + 2.1 btw

Are you talking about WM 6.5 start menu? I am not exactly sure what your want your menu looks like, but the control of the honeycomb menu view settings are located in two files

StartMenu_GridScene_480x800.cpr
StartMenu_GridScene_480x800.cpr

under Windows directory.

The content in the file is pretty easy to understand.

Hope this helps

Copy this file to your PC using ActiveSync or whatever, then edit it on your pc and then copy it back. You can also edit directly on your phone and it's very simple. BTW, I am using MalROM 6.5 +Sense 2.1 if that matters.

For example, my opera6.adr content is like this:

Opera Hotlist version 2.0
Options: encoding = utf8, version=3

My Bookmark left soft key(Internet Tab) is back after I changed default browser to Opera 9.5.
So now the bookmarks listed in the Internet tab are the same as the ones in my opera browser.

Thanks as always. I located the files, but do I need to use a registry editor to correct it?

No. You will need to copy the files to your PC and use a text editor to change the content. Then paste it back to Windows folder. Make sure to backup the files in case of wrong settings.

Re: |MalROM|WM6.5.3 (23518)|WM6.5 (21889) [Feb 3rd]

o.k. first noobie question (to this ROM anyways)
1. do you always have 17 processes running in your task manager?
2. is there a clean RAM type program (i've used oxios for years) that will free up RAM without messing with these?
3. Should I have 17 processes running in task manager?

p.s. i am using the titanium only version of 6.5.3
