Trying out 6.5.3.... how can I get the start menu hard button mapped back to the manilla start menu like you had before? Thanks!!

thanks for the new rom. Is their a way I can get back the upper left coner as the apps button I think is an app button where the start should be. I like just that one press and get the program apps I want rather than sliding all the way over. thanks

I see we lost the HTC volume again.

Try this. Let us know if it works. (Will have it install under \My Documents as an option)

WM6.5.3? I never had an "apps button". If you hit the Win flag it starts the Windows Menu. The hard key used to launch the Manila Start menu (see attached .cab).

BTW, for the WM6.5.3 version, I fixed the volume slider. Redownlad and reflash if that important to ya!

If no provisioning is run, you just cannot update profile or provisioning then, right? And, are those abo****ely needed? Thanks.

WM6.5.3 has the default WinMo Volume Sliders--they look ugly. As opposed to the HTC version (the black version).

That's all. It works either way, but many prefer the HTC version. That's all that was just updated ;-)

I might have discribed it wrong. In the upper left corner when you hit it a programs screen would come up where you can add or remove your favorite used programs. now when I hit it nothing happens how can I get that back. THanks. in 1.1b final

Hmm..still not sure what you mean. Sorry. You can't point me to a specific name for it or a pic? Is it part of Manila or WinMo by default or a 3rd party addon?

he means the programs menu, on previous 6.5.3 versions tapping the top left (where there is no soft key) did the same thing as hitting the windows hard key. now the invisible soft key does nothing and the hard key launches the default windows start menu. on a side note, you can still access that menu, it's the last tab on the right in manilla (new to 1.5 that wasn't there previously)

Excellent News on updated ROM. As a thank you, I've just sent you a case of Heinekens via Paypal (rans ID #91465594E4403835M)

Please Please keep all your custom manila icons (e. Comm manager, etc). IMHO those little details are what takes this ROM over top, making it feel like complete.

If you choose not to, could you at least post a cab of the custom graphics for post flash install?

Ah. Well, if he had installed that .cab I think that brings what he wants back, no? The Manila Start Menu? That's what that MightyMike .cab did, lol.

And yeah, those icons WILL be back. Was talking more about changing the default wallpaper, clock, etc.

Will have an update maybe tomorrow plus I'll incorporate the Y2016 SMS bug fix ;-)

Mal,

I downloaded the 1-1 2.1 rom and when upgrading it says that I am upgrading from malrom to ssk3 is that correct?

A few issues Malatesta:

The force roaming menu did not stick.
When you tap a text message in manila it takes you to the htc menu rather than the windows mobile menu to resond (which is much better)

I miss the action screen being bound to the power button as well.

Yes that is correct! I know I could access it on the last tab, but would like it back is their anyway to get it back? Thanks for clearing it up.

Mal, this is an awesome ROM!!! You do great work!!!! I really liked how your awesome wallpapers showed on all tabs in manila on your previous ROM. Is there a cab to get 1.5 to do that? I also really like the new icons on the action screen, but I miss the color icons on the settings tab of manilla.

Am I missing the reason as to why people want to go to WM sms after tapping the manilla text? I thought the 1922 version of manilla had sped up sms considerably...

Btw, are you planning on a 6.5.3/2.5 rom?

Because Windows is still faster and with 6.5.3 that and I hate the placement of the tiny send button the htc messaging.

will this work with uscc? and what about the mms settings because with no custom rom ive used and man ive flashed so many times on this phone its not even funny anymore but does anyone have a cab i can use to get it working?
