Re: ║Jan.02.10║║SilenceRom_010║ ║SilenceROM_HDFL║ ║Speed║ ║Stability║

I can't get my TP2 with this new rom (silenceROM HDFL) to sync with my pc. [Not sure what HDFL stands for either.]

I can connect through bluetooth or cable and when I click on "my computer" I can see the TP2 and its storage card. I can even explore the files in it. But the Windows Mobile Device Center does not pick it up preventing me from syncing transferring my phone numbers over to my phone.

When I go to the sync icon in the TP2 it says I have to download Device Center or Activesync. I already have Device Center.

Is anyone else experiencing the same? I'm trying to get this solved before I go to sleep, I need my numbers for work tomorrow.

p.s. I also noticed that when I am connected to my PC, I loose my wireless Verizon internet connection. When I disconnect from the PC, it automatically returns. I'm not sure if this is related to me not being able to properly sync or just another problem all together. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check your activesync setting on the computer. start exploring the settings and you'll see different options you're referring to.

HDFL- HD(LEO) Feisty Lesbo, Fuzz licker, err HD Full Landscape prolly.

I already clicked the thanks button but I wanted to post to thank you as well. I am using the newest HDFL rom and I love it.

I did find one very minor thing...When clicking on the Y, H or B buttons on the physical keyboard using the function key gives you the wrong value.

Meaning...
FN plus y should give you \ and it gives you y instead
FN plus h should give you ; and it gives you \
FN plus b should give you _ and it gives you ;
u need to install the silence verizon carrier cab so it remaps your keyboard

Re: ║Jan.02.10║║SilenceRom_010║ ║SilenceROM_HDFL║ ║Speed║ ║Stability║

Wow, just trying this ROM (HDFL) for the first time... this ROM is FAST. Everything seem so muc more snappy than the other ones I have tried. I did notice that this Manila doesn't have the documents tab, which is fine as I don't use it anyway, but maybe that is why this is so much more snappy. Seems like a different verison or something.

In any case, I'm impressed so far.

Thanks, even though I dont have active sync, your advice made me think a bit. Device Center doesnt have settings its like dumb. I was playing around with the Sync Cnter this whole time, when all I had to do was click on the Windows Mobile Device Center icon in the control panel.

Usually when I connect a new device the WMDC automatically pops up, hence the confusion. Also the internet problem now works normal again.

And now I can truely enjoy the Feisty Lesbo in all her HD glory!
