do you have to reinstall everything manualy after you flash a new rom or there is an easyer way like sprite-backup or something similar. I have read something about UC, but I am not sure how it works. I have lots of stuff, that's the reason I stay with 005. TIA

This kitchen is more for the advance user..

You have to make sure you install it..
If you want to install extra ringtones with an EXT do the following..

1)In the ext folder just make a folder called extra or whatever you want..
2)In the folder you just created.. Create another folder called ringtones..
3)In the ringtone folder create another folder called files..
4)In the files folder threw your ringtones..
5)Now install the content by creating an app.dat file in the ringtone folder not the files folder..

Example of an app.dat Lets say your ringtone is called silencepwns.mp3
You install it threw that app.dat like this..

Directory("\Windows\Rings"):-File("silencepwns.mp3","\Windows\silencepwns.mp3")

Task manager or volume control is currently not available for com3 builds.
The reason I defaulted to titianiuim in the com3 TEST build is just so the user can test the new OS format that MS is planning on..
Such as menus, speed , gui but is no means a complete ROM.. Thats what the 000 series are for..

So me adding manila was just a bonus..!!

Actually Malatesta has HTC volume control working on his 28014 build so that's not entirely accurate. I would like to see some other chefs implement whatever fix he's using...hint hint

This was the first time I actually tried the landscape fix. It actually works pretty well. I can use the keyboard to update twitter now.

Then I flashed a diff rom with the newest sense with the documents tab and I tried installing the landscape fix....didn't work.

so anxiously awaiting new HD build

Another question though, uh, what folders from the "OEM" and "SYS" folders can I delete without damaging the rom?! If you could point me in the direction to a site or thread in here that tells what all those folders are and what they do I would greatly appreciate it!

You should leave all the OEM and sys folders alone so you don't accidently delete a file that you need...

....because I already deleted some stuff to my benefit, its just that other programs still show up (World Card Mobile, Task, Notes, Email, the Help icon, and some other ones I can't think of right now) but I don't see them anywhere in the kitchen!

Thats where I need help! Thanks for the reply though......and if you can direct me to someplace where I can find out what those folders are/do than that would be greatly appreciated because I didn't find anything on google!
