Thats the thing.... I have the VZNav installed, but when I go to run it, it tells me that it is unable to complete the authorization process.... It was running this morning when I flashed from Stock VZ6.5... (and yes, I do have VZ Nav as a service on my bill)

Ok, well quick answer is i can't test the issue for you as I don't have VZ service on my VZ tp2 yet, only wifi, as I just got this phone thanks to jas0nmack (everyone thank jas0nmack, or i wouldn't be doing this seperate VZ with VZ 6.5 core edition) and I have not taken the plunge yet and hooked up service as I already have one bill with sprint, but there is the good possibility that I might be able to add a line to someone else's VZ plan so I can test things further. So i couldn't even test vznavigator. What I can tell you though is if you go to google maps, and turn gps on and it locks on your location then your gps is running fine, which that works for me and locks my location within 20 meters within 2 seconds with 10 satellites, just tried it on my VZ tp2. So there isn't anything wrong with the rom getting a gps signal. Maybe try turning on gps in google maps first and don't turn it off and then try and run the app. And if that doesn't work, maybe another VZ user in here who has vznav service can help you better than I can. Sorry that's probably not the best answer you were looking for there, but since that is a subscription based app, my hands are tied on testing that atm.

Thanks for that.... Yea, getting locks on Google Maps, so thats not an issue. It might have to do with the different rom trying to talk to VZW and not liking what the app is running on... Maybe I'll try an older version, as 5.0 is supposedly only available for select devices... that may be where the problem lies.... I'll let you know if I have luck with an older version. (now just to find it.... LOL)

Just tried version 4.1.5.... no luck. That version says that there was a problem initializing the GPS..... I have only installed to the storage card... maybe I'll try to main memory and see if that makes any difference....

I'm pretty sure since the first thing I do before installing anything is attempt to create and edit a reoccurring appointment that the issue is a software change. This seems to confirm the issue (I think). In response to reply below on 23518 you could edit a single day of a recurring appointment. I have not been able to on any updates since then.

Dumb question: Where can I get the Rhodium Teeter cab? I found a few teeter cabs here but they won't run properly on my 3-7 MH ROM :( They install, but they won't run. I'm wondering if they're VGA versions?

Well that article seems to indicate that it's an issue between active sync/wmdc and the newer wm sys's. Which unless someone makes a workaround, not much we can do about it. So... you will have to make your irregular changes in outlook calendar and then sync to your phone.

Have not had that happen in cleanram. Best thing I could tell you is head over to the cleanram thread over at xda and see if anyone else has experienced that. I've used it a few times just to test when I first loaded it during testing phase and it worked fine.

Just chiming in with my 1/2 cents for the Sprint release 23544.
SOLID ROM!
And fast. I've installed co0kie's home tab 1.6.1 and haven't seen it slide up/down this fast before on the home tab, on any 6.5.x ROM.
I've re-setup the stuff I use and haven't come across any problems.

Funny you say that about the all tabs thing. I am working on a new wall paper for all tabs actually. And was just discussing my idea in the chatroom over at ppck just a couple minutes ago LOL. I will make it a cab install. I will try and get it finished tomorrow and cab it up if my idea works like it "should".

Dibbs, Regarding the "agps" in google maps, thanks for the quick response.

Just to clarify:
- I meant that the google maps "My Location" feature is not working, which uses "agps" to triangulate your location using cell towers. GPS is working fine. This is a rather nice feature as it allows you to get your location when gps is having a hard time locking... such as in large buildings, etc. Plus it works instantly, where gps can sometimes take a few secs or longer (depending on your location and surroundings). I find the feature extremely useful.

The "My Location" feature is not dependent on GPS, and works without gps being turned on. Verified that it works on other custom roms.

Rom is about to upload i'm doing a final test flash now, if all goes well, rom should be available for download in about 30 40 minutes, just wanna make sure i didn't forget anything. Sprint will be up first followed by VZ (if i don't fall asleep while the VZ one is uploading, lol, been a long day and have an early morning)

Finish updater (adding in the ability to update rom through updater)
aGPS (finally try and figure out why gmaps isn't playing nicely)

the updater is getting an overhaul, thats why i left it out. It will be available as cab when i get it done. I'm changing the ftp address in the updater over to the new ftp and also adding the ability to flash my updated roms through the updater.

@ryee, if you follow my directions earlier, it allowed me to edit the time of one appointment in a re-occurring appointment chain. I just tried it cuz i have some stuff scheduled out for several months, and it let me change the time of my usual appointment for tomorrow for just tomorrow actually.

Also, sprint 6.5 rom is almost done uploading

I am also seeing that when I look at mostly sunny on the weather tab. When I go back to the home screen with the flip clock I am seeing the animation for cloudy. i see that a quick swipe down on the home screen brings up a menu. when i choose the calendar and choose 3 i still only see 1 calendar event. also i can but the shortcut for the three items right below the calendar events.

the updater app is out of this release due to me recoding the app. As I have stated in a couple posts lately.... lol. Also, if you want to use a wallpaper, go HERE and then use the wallpaper (which is cab form and will install to your wallpaper folder) with whatever all tabs background app you want if you want it on all tabs. If you also read previous posts, you would see i'm working on a new all tabs wallpaper cab as well.

In the youtube app, click the settings icon in the upper right corner. Then select video playback quality, then select fast download. That should help.

also on pic mail.. it says its sent, i can see the kb on the left is like 500*kb but it only sends out a normal text message with out the pic attached on the other end. i sent using the HTC photo album.

Hey Dibb, im running the 23544 rom. Its great but im having one problem. Sprint Tv is giving me an error when i try to start it is says " Unable to launch Sprint TV. Multimedia support is already in use by another application. Please close any audio or video programs that may be running and try again". I have done a soft reset and i still get the problem. I already did a flash dance back to stock just to see and that didnt solve it either. I have nothing else running. Any help

Working on the manila themes, please bare with me. I only have so much time..... ;) ## codes work fine for me. I will have to look at the number codes later as i am not at my computer. Although there are some cabs posted on ppcg that will enable them if you truly can't get them to work. Also the 3 quick links (i'm assuming your meaning on the home tab) should be there. Have you installed any cabs?

Use the default WM text app to sent MMS, sprint MMS does not play well with manila 2.5.

As has been stated and complained about numerous times in this thread, Sprint TV has been an ongoing saga. I as well as some key people of at PPCK have been looking into the issue. Not real sure what the issue is, as even on a build of nothing but the bare sys files it still doesn't work. It is an annoyance, but we are working on it, just haven't found out the cause yet.

Yes from the home tab, I can wait on the theme, the calendar part kinda sucks but I can live with it, I tried ##DATA# which did not work, I already installed other cabs and things got all messed up. The only cabs in installed was in the very beginning from boot up where I had to check the box for sprint mms, max manila and one other for provisioning if I remember. I am going to wipe the phone out and try again. I also noticed that the start menu in landscape still looks like its portrait.

In the new rom can you load default sprint nav and other apps.

With all that being said.. the rom looks really good. Has good speed, seems stable and no major problems with the exception of the direct send MMS from the htc album.

Good work and im sure you guys will get that part fixed eventually.

Have you thought about using Santod's HD Walls patch http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=111907 which will let you use HDWalls cabs for wallpaper on all.

I use it along with Co0kie Home Tab 1.6.1 and it makes a great combination.

yeah, i've tried the santod patch and it does not display the landscape image correctly. He was working on it, but haven't seen anything from him in awhile now, so i'm trying to figure my own thing out now.

Also, just got home, been a busy day. Will start working on uploading 6.5 verizon version soon, and then work on other stuff.
