P.S. And hopefully the HTC messaging cab for me. By the way. I can use HTC messaging for everything except sending messages. I can receive video/pic and audio messages with it. I really like how it nicely ties everything together with contact management.

I usually work it like this. I will usually keep the newest sys and the one before, so like i have 23518 and i have the one before for backup, not that i really need it, i can always redownload a sys. I will also usually keep a backup of my oem's incase i need to revert a package. So i keep backups of old stuff if i need to revert. So kinda yes and kinda no, lol....

I'm not saying until i get it done so no one's let down if it's not done by next update or it ends up not being what i want. Once i say what it is, i will be flooded with posts.

Almost halfway done updating the 21889, the last 2 are uploading now, and that will be all 6 21889 ROM's. Will update post 1 for these when these last 2 finish. I already made the 23518's which will be uploading behind these. Uploads are slow as always, lol, so bare with me and the slow connection.

I had this problem on your previous 1.20 version and again on the new 1.24 version sense 2.5. Probably specific to me only. HOPE you can help. Really want to run your rom. We have a custom wm program for our company and it works on every other rom I have tried (mighty, engery 23518, stock, calkulin). The program will just not open and I get this error. Please see screen shot. Any thoughts? Glad you are feeling better BTW.

Well, I had you a really long response until i realised what the issue was, lol. I will include this from now on. I did not realise this was still needed for some people. Try this cab and let me know if it works, if not, you may need the 3.5 version. Not my cab though, i do have both versions as OEM's though, so not a problem including it going forward.

21889 is a wm 6.5 build with the start menu at the top

23518 is a wm 6.5.x build with the start menu at the bottom, newer thought stream.

Unfortunately not, as all updated ROMs are made and are on their way up the internet pipelines. So the CAB will have to do, sorry. But i'm about 99% sure this cab (or the 3.5 ver) will fix your issue. I'm glad you brought it to my attention though. SQL is definitely something i had overlooked. *Scratching Head, Pondering the thought of possibly the exclusion of this having something to do with Sprint TV not working*

Would it be a bad idea to install this Sprint ROM on my Verizon phone and run a Verizon settings cab or should I wait it out? Also HTC messaging app should have never been created or even exist. It's sad but the default WM 6.1+ threaded messaging is perfect also being able to swipe between accounts and SMS with a finger is nice but HTC messaging breaks that.

P.S. I have been running the VZW titanium ROM you put out the other day and as much as I miss Sense 2.5 this ROM has been solid and I have yet to reboot the phone. Although the speakerphone by flipping the phone on its face doesn't work out of the box but I haven't even went through any settings to see if that could be fixed. I am looking forward to the new 6.5.3 ROM with Sense 2.5 and seeing if my phone is frozen in the morning (every morning) like it was with the 01-21-2010 ROM.

Dibbs,

Just download the ROM (23518 ) in page 78 and already found some problems. I thought you was going to remove the screen cal and date setting. That is still showing up.
Also when I go to setting (manila) then about, when you click on Hardware info or Software info they show the same thing (device info).

The only reason I found this was i wanted to know if what version of sense 2.5 this is (1921 or 1922)?

Removing those 2 screens caused a couple of glitches so i put them back. Bad link for the info pages, i had never noticed that, as i already knew it was 1922, lol. Will fix for next update. And if thats the only complaints, i'm doing good ;)

Why would energy 23518 work and your wouldn't. Is he adding something you aren't?

6.5.3 + Sense 2.5 ? I still haven't uninstalled Opera 10 before bed and see if that fixes it. The screen would come on every morning and turn off but I could not get the screen to respond. I had to hold end until the PShutDown would launch but Sense wouldn't respond. I figured I would wait until your update before saying anything.

Your error is with SQL, i had left that out, as nothing in my rom needs it. Here is the link to the newest version. Depending on how new the app your are using is could be the difference in version or what language and language version is was developed in as well, i'm getting to indepth..... here's the file to try.

while booting up the new 21889 verizon titanium i am getting a voice command error. - voice command has encountered a problem. Restart Voice command and try again.it wont load either. it just seems to be looping the windows load screen. your previous roms booted up super quick.

weird, i did not have an issue with that on the titanium test rom. when you say new, you mean the test titanium from a couple days ago right? which is funny, i have a tester for verizon that didn't have that issue with that rom "if" thats the one your on. As i have not updated post 1 with any of these test roms that have been floating around. Just for you though, here is the NEW titanium verizon rom that is going in the 1st post, i just haven't updated it yet, as i'm waiting for the last 21889 rom to upload.

Ok, loaded up the Sprint equivalent of the ROM your on, and did not get that issue. Try redownloading the ROM and reflashing for me. Also, can you verify the EXACT file size for me please.

running sprint 23518 sense 2.5, is there a reason for 2 settings icons on the start menu. 1 goes to sense 2.5 settings and the other goes to the settings menu.

I notice this on 1 of the earlier ROMs, however I thought it was just my phone problem. When you in the texting screen (view all text messages) or in the thread text of a person and you are type with the keyboard out (the screen does go to landscape). when you are done and close the keyboard it will not switch back to portrait. This is with both 23518 whether it is titanium or sense 2.5 roms.

No, the two settings is how it's supposed to be. Sense 2.5 puts icons in your start menu depending on which tabs you have. That seems to be now isolated to the Sense 2.5 ROMs with it not switching back to portrait. Should be a reg edit, i thought i had it fixed with a reg edit, but something must be over riding the edit.

Answered this one a few posts back, that is a specific feature of the newer dialers, i left out the newer dialers as they are causing issues and until i get the issues worked out i am using the stock dialer. Unless you want your phone to not ring randomly or phone glitches ;) I like the newer ones too, but i like a glitch free phone better.
