Lovin the rom bro. 2 quick questions:
1. Having an issue with wi-fi. Searched the post and got a bit confused with how to enable it
2. Where are the settings for Showcase task manager
Otherwise no issues. Great work

1. Well if you are just wanting to connect to wifi, just go to the Start Menu>comm manager and press the small sqaure on/off button on the right to turn it on and press on the left side where is says wifi for the network selection. Or HTC Settings tab>wireless controls and then follow the same steps, if you just want to connect to a wifi network.

If you want to broadcast a wifi signal, then go to Start Menu>Utilities Folder> WiFi Router and then hit the "Start" Softkey and thats it.

2. Press and hold the Start Menu button and it will pop up automatically. Or Start Menu>Utilities>Showcase

Also I have uploaded 4 Titanium TSK's to the FTP, please use the Updater for now to download because i have not linked them to post 2 yet. More are on the way.

Still love the ROM...

After further thought, i think that version you installed is for 6.5 and not 6.5.x. I bet if you installed the same cab on the 21887 version it would work fine. Just an idea.

No dice on the wi-fi. I can turn it on but for some reason it's not picking up my wireless network, the router is 5 feet away and I am connected to it with my laptop I am typing on now. Probably something specific with my network. I love how u mapped Showcase to the start menu icon. Thanks for all your help. The blood graffiti wallpaper is hot!

Hmm, weird, I went through and tried all of that as i typed it, even turned my radio off and tried the wifi and everything connected fine. You could maybe try turning your radio off and see, are you running any security on your wifi or did you try it with no security? I edited the registry alot on the showcase to run better. Yeah, the blood graft wallpaper is cool, and the theme for that will be up soon.

One more comment and I'm off to bed. I figured out the WiFi issue. For some reason when I disconnected the phone from the usb connecting to my laptop, the network was found and connected immediately. Weird, never had that issue, or maybe I did and never realized it (I am pretty shot out at times). Anyway, thanks for your response and help and I am extremely happy with your rom. I can't believe I never tried you out before

Glad to hear you got it fixed :) Yeah, i've had some weird things happen sometimes like that to with random connectivity issues. And no problem, I try to help as much as I can. And i'm glad you like my ROM. I try to make a smooth usable ROM ;)

Links for the available themes in Post 2 are up now except for the Stock Black Sense 2.5, as I have not finished the Sense 2.5 TSK versions yet. But all the currently available Titanium themes are available in Post 2 and in the Updater (files are labeled either titanium or Manila). Which all the themes are available for titanium except for the Stock Black Manila. Enjoy, and the Manila versions will be up soon, but even if you have Sense 2.5, you can still use the titanium version to change the start menu and titanium and then download the corresponding wallpaper for now. After Manila themes, Taskbar themes and icons will be next.

Re: <> 01-09-2010 <> Medium Hill ROM's <> Sense 2.5 & Titanium <> SYS 21887 & 23518

Free Memory from settings>system>memory

Titanium = Storage/264MB Free <> Program/103MB Free

Sense 2.5 = Storage/195MB Free <> Program/98MB Free

Ram usage stats from taskmanager

Titanium = Hovers from 32% to 48% depending on usage

Sense 2.5 = Hovers from 45% to 55% depending on usage

I left that out, as USB to PC is more for internet sharing over USB, as the phone should connect to active sync without that as active sync is built into the SYS Common. But if you need just the USB to PC part, i did make a custom cab for someone already. Here is the Link. Or you can use the built in Updater app cuz it's already in the cabs section of the updater for instant download to your phone ;) been there for a few days, cuz someone already wanted that ;)

HTC Messaging and arcsoft mms r both included. sms works fine through htc messaging, but u will have to use arcsoft mms to send mms. startmenu-accessories-text for arcsoft mms or u could set a quick link on the home tab for the mms text app also.

First off, Just want to say thank you for the latest 6.5.3 sense 2.5 rom. I used a few others and this is by far the most stable and smoothest custom rom I have tried to date. Plus it is quick and does not take up a huge amount of memory. Great JOB!:headbang:

Just wanted to let you know that I am also expereincing the problem where the dialer gets all mangled up. Seems to occur after awhile at random. I soft reset it today, and dialer is working; I don't use the phone all day, and then went to dial and it is messed up. BTW, I am using Max Manila 2.5-2.8 beta.

Also, anyway to shrink the context menus... regedit maybe? They seems so large.

Thanks again.

Just a update on my issue of not having any audio during calls and at other times. It was my dumbass fault for installing audio boost light cab. Removed yesterday and not a single incident since. Apparently all those cabs that increase the audio volume are iffy. Dibbs great job on the ROM, it has become my favorite. Really enjoy the new word completion and the threaded emails, plus it's stable and quick with me running MaxManila 2.81. You will be thanked sir.

Thanks for compliments :) For the dialer, just slide the keyboard out and then back in, fixes it everytime when the dialer pad doesn't show. This only started after some ui cabs i installed, but i installed like 3 or 4 cabs back to back not really paying attention before i reset, lol. Anyways, minor annoyance but easily fixed. As far as context menus, i could probably make a theme you could install that could do that possibly, can't promise i can do it tonight, but if you can wait a day or two, i'm pretty sure i could whip something up for ya. Hope that helps, and glad you are enjoying the ROM!!

Hey Dibbs, just want to thank you again for all the help last night. I am happy to report that after my first day of using your ROM I couldn't be more pleased. This is by far the most (and really only) stable sense 2.5 ROM I've used, and I have used them all. My battery life is at 51% after pretty heavy usage and the only real issue I ran into was the phone dialer which is easily fixed. My usual chef updated today but I'm gonna stick with you. This shit blew me away. Love the email format too. Keep up the good work bro and I look forward to your updates and further integration of your Updater. Thanks

Just wanted to add my compliments for this ROM. Running 23518 without problems. Plays well with other software and themes (including MaxManilla 2.81). Only issue was the documents tab, which until removed, really slowed down the device. I'm sure its not the ROM, just hardware shortcomings of TP2.

Are you planning to update from the oemdrivers and bluetooth stack of the official verizon 6.5 release?

Titanium or Sense 2.5? I probably just need to see if there is a newer or better package than the one i got cuz this one seems to be on and off flaky it looks like from the reports over the last couple of updates it seems like. The next round of updates later this week, should be even more stable, like i stated a few posts back, i got some custom graphical updates for manila, a few new packages, better use of memory, and few other tricks up my sleeve, since youtube seems to be that tall blade of grass that sometimes sticks up after cutting the entire yard, i'll make sure to try and fix that once and for all!! Well the large context menus is a minor annoyance, and I can live with it. I'm sure you have much more important fish to fry, err, I mean updates to take care of.

Also, does anyone know how to get the default/built-in slide to unlock screen to automatically turn on when the display goes off? I previously used s2u2, but would rather use the built-in one since its there.

Yeah, i'm finishing a couple of wallpaper cabs, the sense themes take longer cuz i am creating the actual manila files for each and i have to test each one to make sure it works out alignment wise, and i've felt lazy today too ....... And a laser blaster would be nice, so when you get the dilithium crystal coded to the flux capacitor, let me know, sure would like to try it ;)

Have u ever tried Smartlock? I use it with the standard lockscreen. It installs the settings in your start>settings>system settings>smartlock. Just set your preferences and it will lock whenever you want it to.

jpucillo74 - Thanks for the info regarding Smart Lock.

Ironically, someone just posted about this today in the Touch Pro 2 general forum. They recommended Lock Device, which can be found at xda.

I actually opted to use the Rhodium keyboard remapper, since I already have it installed. Simply map the power key to its default action and add another option to lock the device. I kind of like using the Rhodium Keyboard remapper option since I don't need any extra programs that are in memory.

Sorry to get off topic from the rom.

Where is the keyboard remapper? I was using A1rom earlier and had a similar issue. the in-built WM auto lock used to work for the 23518 built but when i installed the sprint provisioning, it stopped working. I feel the auto lock in your rom is not working because of the same issue.
