Hey lunacie, you never did get back with me about the rom issues I had. Everytime I download from either mediafire or rapidshare and open to try to flash, I keep getting the error message saying the file was corrupted. I've been trying all this week and I've chimed in all this week only to not get any help or solution from anyone. Could you please take out the time to help me on this. I love your roms especially since I'm with verizon and I just want to stay up to speed like everyone else but I can't get any help with this thing. Your time and expertise would be greatly appreciated...


Update: Just tried it again and it said the same thing... format unknown or damaged

i love it too, but i'm kind of a speed fanatic, so when i flashed with 8mb pagepool it was kinda slow for me. so my question what pagepool did you use?

I tried 8, then 6, now I'm on 4. Since we're on the VZ TP, there's no way of getting around a "out of memory" pop-up every once in a while. Sense 2.5 just takes up way too much memory for our TPs. But I've learned to manage with the 4mb PP. If I need to use Opera, I close all apps and run cleanRAM first.

What settings do you use for cleanram? I keep hearing everyone talk about it and have had it installed for a long time, but it never does much, if anything for me. I've tried level 2, level 2 with "best" settings and level 3. None of the level 2 ever frees up any ram at all (shows 0MB Cleaned). Level 3 sometimes works when it doesn't freeze, but also messes up my phone so I can't even use the dialer - soft reset.

Anyway, sorry for OT post, but just curious.

Really? I'm surprised. If I didn't have cleanRAM, I'd have to constantly soft-reset!

I have it on Setting 3 since I need to reclaim the maximum # of RAM. It never freezes on me. I have to tap the screen 2 or 3 times so that it doesn't dim before it's complete. I can usually get a total of anywhere between 20 - 25mb. If it's not 20-25 total free RAM, then I usually run it again and then it frees up the rest.

When I install any ROM, since i'm on VZ, I usually install Total Commander or Resco Explorer and go to my Windows\StartUp and remove VoiceCommand (I never use this), PhoneCanvas (because I use PhonEX), and Lumos. Lumos really takes up barely any RAM so your call on removing that.

If you're not getting 20-25 MB free after a cleanRAM L3 run, then I suggest doing a flashdance (flash to stock ROM first, then to Lunacie-32L).

I still haven't found a browser that runs out of memory though. I just downloaded Skyfire so I'll test that out.

I hope my comments help. I always have cleanRAM configured to my Long Send Hold so that I can run it easily.

Loaded up the lite version for my Verizon phone tonight and it is great. I did disable manilla as it just sucks up the memory.
The one thing I can't figure out is how to make the X Button close programs instead of minimizing. Help?

Actually I take that back . The 20-25 MB free was when I was on a different ROM, a Manila 2.1. I just confirmed that after I run a cleanRAM L3, I have about 16-17 MB free.
