It's taken 3 days of solid use for it to happen, but I've been getting dialer problems in v28205-30 - anybody else having issues with the dialer (besides the ring-vibrate delay which I've heard of but never experienced)?

My symptoms: scrollbar on dialpad curtain, sometimes the phone will lock up after hanging up, signal bar indicates disconnected - takes 2-3 seconds to get back to normal.

Let me know. In the meantime, if you're having issues like me, I suggest flashing back to v28011-29.

The 28205 build is known to have issues with the Rhodium dialer, which I thought I'd dealt with. I hope to have a fix soon as I really like this build otherwise - super fast and great battery life.

Thank you for your response Lunacie. No I had not installed any other cabs at that point or time but here is some interesting info. I after flash dancing I went to m.google.com to download the latest Google Maps cab. I put in my cell# and it sent me a txt with the download link. It was this txt that showed up black in sense and disabled the response of touch to open the txt message. Other txts that was sent to my phone was not displaying in sense either without alternative methods (such as "All Messages"). After I deleted the txt from m.google.com everything seems to be working fine now. Weird.....

I am at work today so my phone will be put to its paces today. I will report back if there are any other issues.

Flashed to the 28205-30 ROM last night... putting it through the paces. Had a bad flash at first as it locked up on something simple and had to hard reset to fix it. I knew I should have flashed from the SD card like I normally do All is well now...

So far no issues and like the ROM so far...great job! I was so glad to see the regular text messaging and not the HTC messaging. I'll let you know if I see the dialer issue.

At first glance I didn't see Windows Marketplace... it is hiding somewhere? I haven't had time to dig yet.

is there any possible way to have the screen lock (the once that next to the start) to have it with the power button?? like when u wake up the phone the screen is locked and u have to slide to unlock.. i think its similar to diamond...

Anyone can help? i would really appreciate it!

its a program that can be set to lock(windows lock) when the screen goes blank and it does a lot more.

Yikes, that's weird.

I've never used sms for getting links, I just go to webpage & download .cab through browser (Opera10 these days).

Actually, you should have HTC messaging... so something still went wrong with the flash I presume.

I left out marketplace from the latest builds. I'll add it back in after a bit more testing. In the meantime, download .cab from MICROSOFT HERE.

Yeah, the 28205 causing TONS of issues with the HTC dialer. The only devices I've heard aren't suffering are LEO (HD2) with particular fixes applied. But a bunch of chefs are working on a fix for this, I'm sure it'll be forthcoming soon.

It's too bad for now, because 28205 is really faster & has way better battery life than 28011 or 28014!

i am also having dialer issues but other then that this rom is smokin fast and stable
