Interesting, I just flashed it onto my "test bed" (a Verizon Touch Pro with bad ESN that I got off Craigslist for $20) - works fine on that phone with today's build but I had to cut the pagepool to 8MB .

Actually, it's pretty darned fast on that phone! I was able to install the cab that I use for Metro without a problem, so, I may just go for it on my "Live" phone (Sprint Touch Pro). I'm pretty impressed!!!!

:) glad to hear it. I did make some OEMdrivers mods, moving drivers out of kernel into imgfs (trying to keep kernel as small as possible), perhaps thats just what vzw needed! glad to hear of your success. I am fully confident this will be the fastest rom you have ever used. :)

Install any cab of whatever keyboard you want. the juicy47 ezinput 2.0 is a good one if you like HTC stock.

WOW - that's interesting - I was able to flash my Verizon Touch Pro with this ROM but not my Sprint Touch Pro - GO FIGURE?

My Sprint Touch Pro keeps coming up with an error stating, "ERROR [244]:Invalid Model ID"....

Any ideas????

well that is odd, haven't heard that before. I have been using the same ModelID for all my rom's... wait wait

there is a difference, it got changed from RAPH800 to RAPH6400. lol. will make a new one with the CORRECT modelID. it is odd though since I am on sprint, I flashed it to my test sprint tp and my live one. As well as everyone else on here. You are using my RUU, right?

edi tnvm, I hav ebeen using RAPH6400 for the past month. Don't think that matters, all it looks for is the RAPH part I guess. I will look into this. most interesting.. just looked at another kitchen and theirs is set to RAPH80000...

edit: just consulted with the secret chef group and the numbers after the RAPH part are irrelevant.

ask in the kitchen thread ;) but here's your freebie: make sure there is a folder called WinCENLS_WWE in OEM. inside that fodler there should be wince.nls and it's dsm file. if thats not there look in the archive and make sure it is there, and extract that part again. I only added that wince.nls check because I so often forget it and without it, the ROM is a dud (will not boot)

Well I'll be damned... My "Live" phone that I bought used because of how good condition that it was in, that and the fact that it was already running 6.5, was RELOCKED.

I just unlocked it and it's flashing normally now.

Guess it all makes sense now, doesn't it? LOL

Actually,it was running Indagroove's ROM, found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=96393 .

Not sure why he would have relocked it, but, he does deal in a lot of used phones, guess he didn't want someone coming back to him who bricked it because they had no idea what they were doing!

I didnt even think you could relock a phone that didnt have the signed stock rom on it.. guess so. I would never try that for fear of bricking.. but I have no idea how anyone could brick one of these phones, if I haven't done it, it is not possible lol. Besides doing what cmonex does (messes with the SPL) of course

Something that should have keyed me in to it was the fact that there was no boot-up splash screen, just a blank white screen. Now it says Touch Pro on the screen when I turn it on.

Quick question about about the top rom 2.5 if it is infact a 2.5 manilla why in the heck would there be a htc contacts you know the same one that the sms dosnt work for right? Why not add the disable htc cab that everyone been using so they can enjoy a fully working rom? What and where are the work arounds for the correct texting? Can i just add any third sms program then disable htc 2.1 texting screen? I was previously on a manilla 2.1 which worked perfectly which was why i was asking you before if your rom 2.5 was no bugs. So thank you.

Re: [ROM][12-11]WM 6.5.3 28011 Manila 2.1/2.5 Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Ok raid i usually dont add my two cents, but i just have to. I was using 28008 for the past week or so after empirom was abandoned. I was very reluctant to try any other one as i was pretty much happy with that rom, but after having bug here and bug there, i decided it was time for a change and all i can say is AMAZING.

its quick, looks amazing and is an absolute treat to be running this rom. Ive been having a bunch of computer issues and i screwed up something, not sure what, but i noticed when i installed a tsowen (Who is amazing) taskbar, i wasnt able to have access to the windows start button or any other buttons for that matter on the bottom. so i figured a reflash was in order.

After i spent all day making this rom perfect to what i want, you release 28011, lol. but its all good, im not sure how you can make it better than what it already was, but im looking forward to getting it on the phone and going to work lol.

One request would be could you possibly hook me up with a cab or something of a custom taskbar that will work and not mess anything up?

If i had to make one complaint it would be that the taskbar is kind of blah. not a bad thing as it is perfectly functional, i just kinda wanted a little more flash ya know. Every tsowen taskbar i have tried has done something to make the menus not working. So basically anything that will add some flash and color would be GREAT. i really do appreciate it.

Once again keep up the good work. I was recently laid off or i would most def make a donation of some sort. Thanks again and have a great day

EDIT: sorry i forgot to ask, and if its a stupid question, im sorry. What is the difference between the 28011 i just downloaded and the 28008 that i have been using. once again, if stupid i am sorry.

Real quickly, i tried to add your banner to my profile and i am not really sure of how to. I would gladly support this rom, just need to know how to lol

Nice ROM fast and smooth the only thing that seems funny on this is the pictures on the photos and video tab... Don't line up from top too bottom/left too right in wide-screen rotate mode and the arrow to play album is not present as well !!! Any-who between yours (BASELINE), NRGZ, AND VETVITOS' ROMzzz ... {YOU GUYS ARE ALL THE BEST} ... I LOVE TESTING/USING YOUR ROMzzz !!!

Has anyone got "Turn speaker on when device is placed face down during a call" to work with the latest ROM? I've tried banging it down on a flat surface, and carefully placing it.

It also wasn't working for me with another ROM (NFSFAN). Could it be my radio?

Many thanks.

no, please don't bang your phone on stuff.. I have not seen this functionality on TP, just TP2. it also doesn't mute the ringer when turned over. The rhodium dialer is what I use, so that is why it has that in the options I am sure.

I did not cook youtube in so I doubt I cooked in any of its dependencies. However manila 2.5 requires like every dependency in the world... I will check into it.

Thank's a lot, I would greatly appreciate it. I LOVE your rom and have tried many many others and keep coming back to this one. Just minor things like youtube are making it from being perfect, but this is the most stable & fast rom I have used. Good job!:headbang:

I have a few alltel users that use my kitchen, dont see why it wouldnt work for you as long as you have a carrier cab. It boots on VZW TP's (just verified this myself). The alltel TP is very similar to the Sprint one though so you should have no issues. Just ignore the update PRL and PRI functions in the system menu (sprint only)

Did sprint picture mail work on the previous rom? If so, its not working on this rom. Everytime I do the whole "Remove Picmail & Arcsoft, soft reset, & install JD arcsoft 5.2" it never works, the only way I can seem to use picture mail is from it being cooked into a rom.. I'm really not sure what im doing wrong at that part. So far Picture Mail and Youtube are my minor issues.

EDIT: I can send pictures but not recieve them. This is what it looks like when I go to recieve pictures.
