Re: [ROM][01-13]WM 6.5.5 23518 Manila 2.5&Titanium [UC/Sashimi] - FINAL TP RELEASE

Hey raid,

First I'd like to say i have been using your roms/kitchens for quite a few months now with great satisfaction. Also I'm certainly appreciate you fixing up this final rom v2.

My only issue with this so far is the soft keyboard, there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off Auto-Complete/Word suggestion which slows down typing. I have attempted to manually edit the registry settings under HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9 as well as in HKLM\Software\HTC\ezsip which I had assumed would be the correct location

Can anyone offer some help on this issue?

there is a reg key that you can delete to turn it off. without it though you wont get any contact name autocomplete when composing a message, which is the only reason I have it...

edit: that may be inaccurate, I will check for you

this is what I have in my autocomplete reg file:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010409]
"Ime File"="\\windows\\compime.dll"
"Layout Text"="eT9 IME"
"Keyboard Layout"="00000409"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME]
"CarrierDefaultTextMode"=dword:00000001
"ContextAwareSetting"=dword:00000001
"MdbFile"="HTCMDB.txt"
"DefaultInputModule"=dword:00000001
"KeyboadLayout"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\LanguageKeyboardIDMapping]
"*"="07FF"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\KeyboardLayouFiles]
"*"="eT9.Rhodium.Sprint_WWE.kmap.txt"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\KDbFiles]
"07FF"="eT9.HQD.kdb"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete]
"MaxSuggestions"=dword:00000005
"DisableIMEContextInAddressFields"=dword:00000001
"IncludeContactsGroups"=dword:00000003
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete\SuggestionGenerators]
"phone"="{BEBD4D6C-33D1-473f-8F78-FB1A42712610}"
"email"="{99ae0ef2-0772-4bd4-8f49-d0672b3f6480}"

Thumbs up Best rom i've used!

hey RZ
Congradulations you have successfully made a build that stayed on my vzw TP for a +24 hours. (i just got my dad's tp last week)

See here i'm wicked picky when it comes to my phone software. i want something fast and works well, and you did it with this build, even on a VZW TP with crippled RAM .

Pagepool of 12 its just quick enough to work for my needs, and as long as i shut all background processess off i can do anything. This build is my build, (until sense 2.5 landscape is fixed or a stock sense 2.5 ROM is released).

Thanks man

thanks! glad its working out. a tip is to use DF_Taskman in tools to disable services you don't use, bluetooth (obex, bluetooth*) for example will save 4 megs of ram

Which key would I delete for that? I can press the To: button or menu/add recipients to add contacts Are those Autocomplete files just for the Contacts/Recipients?

Thanks again for all your help!

Re: [ROM][01-13]WM 6.5.5 23518 Manila 2.5&Titanium [UC/Sashimi] - FINAL TP RELEASE

I'm sorry this is a noob kind of question but if I plan to use this rom, will I need to re-flash my TP to Metro if it was already flashed to their network?

just noticed china telecom? I think you're on own there, that is most certainly what is causing your texting delays, my roms are made for sprint, but they tend to work fine on other carriers with the right provisioning package
i dont think the carrier is a cause, for i have tried several roms here without such an issue.
anyway, a million thanks for your quick answers.
