Hi there..just flashed to ur Manila 2.5 ROM ( 23518 ) and LOVIN IT i wanted to ask u though..what custom taskbars and clocks go well with ur rom??...i havent seen many for the 2.5 manila so before i mess anything up i'd like to here it from the man himself lol...any help is appreciated

yes, i then changed the pagepool to 20M. but the problem was still there.
another question about the rom: how to switch input methods? i am using a different language.

The only one I know of or have ever tested that works for 6.5.x is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562251 need to install the Brians BWTaskBar_23053.zip (932.8 KB, 2176 views) though. As far as clocks go, anything that will work with 2.5 should have no issues.

hmm.. anyone else have delays with texts?

about input methods, try holding down the softkey that bring up the keyboard, that will provide a list of all installed keyboards.

just noticed china telecom? I think you're on own there, that is most certainly what is causing your texting delays, my roms are made for sprint, but they tend to work fine on other carriers with the right provisioning package

I installed the 2.5 release last night,
this morning at work.. it said it will expire on 5-2010,, then a hour or so later,,,
it expired... had to reset using hardware keys. so i can use my phone now...

everything is working great, . texts are fine, just a small lag..

.... it timebombed? wtf.. lol that is unexpected. I *DO* test these things before I release lol and I never saw any timebomb stuff. I am gonna say maybe that was a result of not flashing to stock first (which I never do, by the way) or not hard resetting after flashing.

I am just not getting this whole "final release" thing am I? hahah

after a flash, I always clear storage... I use a stock rom after problems with flashing...
but all ur roms are kool... thanks so much..
I will be waiting for the final rom... haha..

Im at work, so i cant flash and try the 2.1 till after work..
but im liking the sense 2.5,, its working a whole lot better...
except my darn favorite list.. i use spb backup, and it doesnt restore the same way as 2.1 roms...
but its ok, i have them on speed dial anyways..
will be sad to see u go..

It tried your ROM and on the whole I liked it but how do I get the programs to show up or have they have been removed completely from the newer versions of manila?

Do you mean the programs tab? I do not know if that is in 2.5... I just figured the quick links under the clock served that purpose...
