Usually I just use new builds for new roms, if I do make another ROM with the same buid it will have its own version number. I will be slowing down with the ROM/Kitchen business though, it is becoming an obsession and I can see it potentially stunting my professional growth, plus I had a fight with my wfe over it this weekend...

Plenty of behind the scenes stuff. We should see improved memory management and lower CPU usage, better battery life comes with that.

Not sure where it went, but I am looking to enable the autocomplete suggested recipients in the TO: field in SMS when you start typing. Currently it does not provide suggested recipients.

I believe you can fix this by turning on xT9 or messing with the settings there but I havn't had any luck in finding out where it is in this ROM. Any suggestions? THANKS!
I did not include ezinput SIP. Since I use fingerkeyboard, it is the only input method included. xT9 only works with ezinput.

Go into settings>system>keyboard config to map your buttons.

Opera 10 is nice, but does not (in my experience) integrate fully with manila and leaks memory...

edit: after searching the xda thread i'm attempting this:
REGEDIT4

; Reg To Disable Messaging Client in Manila
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Manila://PeopleDetail\\peopleMessage.page.hidden"=dword:000 00002
"Manila://PeopleDetail\\peopleMessageClassic.page.hidden"=dw ord:00000000
"Manila://PeopleDetail_SIM\\peopleMessage.page.hidden"=dword :00000002
"Manila://PeopleDetail_SIM\\peopleMessageClassic.page.hidden "=dword:00000000
"People.MessageClient.Disable"=dword:00000001

; Tweaks Max SMS Per Page:
"People.Message.ItemPerPage"=dword:00000019

; Reg for GSM
"People.Message.IsCDMA"=dword:00000000

; Reg for CDMA
; "People.Message.IsCDMA"=dword:00000001

& it seems to be a success. so anyone who gets this error. just use a registry editor & change the 0 to a 1 =]
im kinda dumb with reg edit.
can u please guide me through how to get to the right value that has to be changed?

thx

sure, if this doesn't help i'll ask you to msg me on aim/yahoo/google or something so i can walk you thru it. this is the area you want to be in.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]

once you find this location. you need to find the actual entry that needs changed, its in the long list you will see this

"People.Message.IsCDMA"=dword:00000001

except it will not have a 1, it will be all 0's. you need to "EDIT" that field & change the 0 to a 1.

remember after making any regedits, you must soft reset your device to take effect.

also on this particular rom build, you will want to use the latest packages from XDA which i've attached. once you do the regedit, you will need to update your package for the classic messenging to work properly so you dont get a SMS from your carrier saying the message could not be sent.

this only applies to the use of "manila messaging" not the standard WM messaging.

hollar if you need help.

I like the ROM so far, but the BT Explorer doesn't seem to work. In the "Supported Profiles" it doesn't even mention it.

BT Explorer is pretty make or break for me. Will it make it back in for the next release?
