Re: [ROM][12-11]WM 6.5.3 28011 Manila 2.1/2.5 Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

I'm going to try it from another PC that has never had a phone hooked up to it and see if that makes any difference.

well that is odd, haven't heard that before. I have been using the same ModelID for all my rom's... wait wait

there is a difference, it got changed from RAPH800 to RAPH6400. lol. will make a new one with the CORRECT modelID. it is odd though since I am on sprint, I flashed it to my test sprint tp and my live one. As well as everyone else on here. You are using my RUU, right?

edi tnvm, I hav ebeen using RAPH6400 for the past month. Don't think that matters, all it looks for is the RAPH part I guess. I will look into this. most interesting.. just looked at another kitchen and theirs is set to RAPH80000...

edit: just consulted with the secret chef group and the numbers after the RAPH part are irrelevant.

ask in the kitchen thread but here's your freebie: make sure there is a folder called WinCENLS_WWE in OEM. inside that fodler there should be wince.nls and it's dsm file. if thats not there look in the archive and make sure it is there, and extract that part again. I only added that wince.nls check because I so often forget it and without it, the ROM is a dud (will not boot)

Whew - I was wondering what was going on, still odd that it worked on the Verizon phone but not on the Sprint one??? Go figure?

And yes, I'm using your RUU

Well I'll be damned... My "Live" phone that I bought used because of how good condition that it was in, that and the fact that it was already running 6.5, was RELOCKED.

I just unlocked it and it's flashing normally now.

Guess it all makes sense now, doesn't it? LOL

Re: [ROM][12-11]WM 6.5.3 28011 Manila 2.1/2.5 Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Actually,it was running Indagroove's ROM, found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=96393 .

Not sure why he would have relocked it, but, he does deal in a lot of used phones, guess he didn't want someone coming back to him who bricked it because they had no idea what they were doing!

I didnt even think you could relock a phone that didnt have the signed stock rom on it.. guess so. I would never try that for fear of bricking.. but I have no idea how anyone could brick one of these phones, if I haven't done it, it is not possible lol. Besides doing what cmonex does (messes with the SPL) of course
