*Updated March 5th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5.5 ROMs

i found flashdance back to stock, clear memory, reflash nfsfan's rom, then clear memory again and see if that clears it up for you. it should.

like i said, i have never heard of or seen this issue. i use bluetooth on mine and don't get anything like this.

only problem i ever have on messaging is sometimes when i close the wm messanger, my phone will lock up and need a softreset. thats about it.

Well, I'm an idiot... I hadn't gotten around to flashing 1.5 and now 1.4 has expired (rather winmo has expired). It won't come up in activesync so I can't flash it. Any ideas on how to get it updated?

EDIT: I'm dumb, I forgot I could just load it into bootloader mode. Hold down vol down, power, then do soft rest with the stylus, and it'll load bootloader - of which you can update there.

btw. I love this rom but I could never seem to get mms working after flash dance...bla bla. I looked all over this thread to find the fix to vzw mms and couldn’t find anything(maybe I didn’t look hard enough). I was able to get mms working after installing the vzw carrier cab and then installing imnuts Verizon ArcSoft MMS 5.2.12.45..and reset. Ill post it here for anyone who is lazy like me and dosent want to search around for it. Hope this helps all the vzw users out there who haven’t resolved this issue yet.

Couple of questions after a "flash dance" fresh install and the Sprint provisioning cab install:

-Anybody else get a network notification warning message saying "Home Only" on boot up? how do I prevent this from occurring?

- I get a dialing #777 message pop up every time I connect to evdo data. How do I permanently hide this message? Registry setting?

It works! many thanks, that was getting annoying!

I also changed my roaming setting from Home only to Automatic. That got rid of the 'Home only' notification message, but I'd rather have it on Home and do without the notification. Another registry setting change?!!
