Re: *Updated February 3rd* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5.x ROMs

Somebody was asking if there is a way to disable the "Connecting to..." bubble notification every time data connection is established, it was bothering me too.

To disable it go to Settings (In Sense UI) -> Other -> Sounds and Notifications -> Notifications tab, select "Connection Established" and uncheck the notification.

Also, I would have a question. Is there any mod that would increase the number of quicklaunch icons in some way? 6 seems to be soo little. I saw that the original WVGA version has many of these mods, that can increase them up to 25, but I guess those obviously wouldn't work with this VGA-ized version of Sense.
As an alternative it would also help if at least there would be a separate Sense tab for this, like it was in the Manila 2.0

Other than that keep up the good work NFSFAN, this is by far the best ROM for the Touch Pro!

well my keyboard slides open AND I do get the sliding sounds, i do get lights, but no activity, none of keys do anything. then after a few seconds lights goes off, thats it..

I called HTC, they said if its the keyboard, around $120, if its more than that probably, they think it will be $340, my warranty expired 1 month ago. they said its sorry.. u would have to pay..
I had it serviced twice, would you think they would fix it,..

I've been having problems for the past 2 or 3 weeks intermittenly, a soft reset would usually fix it,
I've heard alot of others on past reviews about they keyboards, problems.. its usually the phone.

Hey,

I have been having the same problem. Temporarily, I fixed the problem by taking the battery out, and pushing down really hard on the spacebar and turn it on. That fixed it for me. Apparently there is a problem with a the flex cable under the keyboard.

Give it a shot.

It's Feb 23/2010. Where is the update? I'm anxiosly waiting. I wish we could have a lite version of this ROM with just Titanium. Wonder how much more quicker that would be.
