actually I use arcsoft for my mms to work. I use the recent version of it 5.2xx. and i changed the server from the sprint default too the USCC version. the nfsfan cab is mainly for your GPS i believe. I hope this helps you.


Here are the steps for mms....

once u have the arcsoft 5.2xx installed soft reset and follow these steps to have mms working fully on a USCC device!

1. start>text>menu>mms options>servers>new

......then fill in what you see below

2. Server name:USCC
gateway: (leave it blank)
port number:80
server addess:http://mmsc1.uscc.net/mmsc/mms
connect via: data connection
speed limit: 500k

I use this method for EVERY rom and I have had no problems at all.

Great ROM. I have found a little glitch. I have done the flash dance....stock sprint ROM...hard reset...NFSFAN...hard reset...
after all this, I am getting an exclamation point in the top bar ( ! ). When I check it, I am getting a Network status window that says "Home only."

Any ideas?

Great ROM. The only problem I am having is with Slingbox. I open Slingmedia and can not get to any of the controls on the bottom. I think the start, phone and menu bar on the bottom of the screen is blocking it. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!

the older versions of slingplayer mobile have that problem. i believe the newer versions of slingplayer (2.0 and above) are more finger friendly and rectify the problem. there's a 30 day trial on the slingmedia site.

Great rom NFSFAN! Works very well on my crippled vzw tp.

This isn't a huge deal because I can simply edit the reg after flashing your rom(s), but please consider making the menus finger-friendly throughout. For those of us that mainly use titanium, this reg edit gives you the nice menu enhancement there as well:

HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCMenus --> EnableManilaCheck: Dword = 0

EDIT: Also, anyone else notice the "back" button in the rhodium dialer is cut-off? Sometimes it displays fine for me, but as soon as I scroll down for history, the top half of the icon disappears.
