Re: indagroove's Sense 2.5 TouchPro ROM - CE OS 5.2.23506 (Build 23506.5.5.0) [111909
damnnn don't ya hate computers sometimes inda? I had bluescreens a long time ago until I upgraded to better RAM. Especially if you are running dual channel sims that don't really match from manufacturer. For me, the bluescreens were totally random at first and then started happening more frequently until it was a big problem.
Anyways, you could also try leaving just 1 sim at a time in the mainboard and restarting the machine to see if RAM causes the problem. Hope you get it fixed. I'm loving your ROM so far! The kitchen is the most important room of the house and cannot be lost. (I love to eat hehe) |

I tried to open a RAR file today, but of course it wasn't associated. Easy fix, just open up PocketRAR and hit OK right? Wrong. You can't hit OK, as there is none, how do you get PocketRAR working?

First of all, great work, groove. I really like the ROM. I put your ROM on my phone a couple days ago and everything looks great.
I do have a couple issue that are keeping me from leaving your ROM on my phone though. Maybe a couple of these have been mentioned, I haven't read all 98 pages of previous posts yet. Here's what's happening:
I'm going to keep a close eye out for new releases. Maybe one of them will fix my problem. Right now, when Sense crashes sometimes my phone doesn't recover even with a soft reset. I have to remove the battery to turn the phone off then hard reset and reload the ROM. Three times in the last 2 days this has happened. Maybe I have bad memory in my phone? Anyway, I'm going to give one of the stock 6.5 ROMs a try and see if I have the same kind of trouble. Thanks again for your hard work! * Edit: I'm trying a flashdance back to stock and then to 111909. I don't want to give up on your ROM. Maybe it's just normal ROM flash wierdness. I'll update with whether it works or not.* * Edit 2: Apparently all is better now. No freezes for 2 full days. Let this be a lesson for everyone on how important it is to stabilize your phone before you do your ROM upgrades. I forgot and paid for it unnecessarily with 2 days of crashes. * Last edited by vsalyan; 11-23-2009 at 10:00 AM. Reason: New information |

And I have to ask because it can make all the difference in the world...are you using a legitimate version, or is it cracked? |
