[ROM] [KITCHEN] Psyki 4 Final - Custom Glass Manila 2.1 (21874.5.0.83)

first off, SNAPPY ROM! ive been playing with this all day and ive noticed 2 things

1. i cant access clocks & alarms from the settings...it highlights but doesnt open ive tried my finger the d-pad and the enter button..

Edit: seems to be a tf3d prob..unchecked it, checked windows default and was able to access clocks/alarms that way (i GOTTA have my clock on the top at all times)


2. massive memory leak. after surfing web. i task mgr. close everything and still around 90% usage... clean ram cleans up average of 40-50mb every hour or so.

Edit: for me the biggest leak happens when i use the iris browser(only 1 tab open) but if i happen to have any other program open then iris freaks out then closes... didnt happen on previous rom.

anyone else?

First of all.......WELL FREAKIN' DONE!!!
I have also had the same issues with the leak and clock. Not a deal breaker for me though cuz this rom is the dope!! I guess if this is an issue that more people have it may just be a flash issue. I have clean ram set to about every 6 hrs and it definitely helps with the % usage.

sometimes life is just too cruel.....
i tried to flash the new rom after doing the "flashdance." while rebooting, the phone gets hung up on the start up ("touch pro") screen. i went in the kitchen and changed the pagepool to 6. i reflashed to stock (verizon)....i then tried to flash the new psyki rom (with the pp set @ 6), this time it gets hung up on the start up, but this time the phone has the verizon start up screen on it.
i have gone back to psyki 9/29....it seems to load with no problems. any ideas?

using the kitchen-trying to build a titanium only rom. deleted all manila folders(couldnt find anything i would need in there for titanium). deleted tachi phone canvas(strongly dislike) and added black slide to answer, black log and phone canvas from calks kitchen. im getting a weird mix of tachi/standard canvas even though i deleted the tachi folder.

i cant add titanium plugins to kitchen(well i can add em but they dont show up on home screen even when enabled in chome). specifically titanium notifications, cfacebook and titanium weather. items can be installed by cab so there is a conflict somewhere im not smart enough to find.

Having additional information may help you solve your problem. Fire up FDC task manager and sort by process memory. See if your PID is GWES.

If that is the case, it is tied to the eye candy. Clearram will help the other PID's will grow based off of cache settings that have been implemented.

I can't really help you with the titanium plugins (the few I tested worked fine though) but make sure you remove the tachi skin in the visual mods group as well as the dialer itself. Glad you're diving in though

I know what's wrong with the Verizon non-booters, I'll be uploading a fixed rom and kitchen shortly. Sorry about that!

yep missed the one in the visual mods. im sure thats where the 1/2 and 1/2 dialer came in

First of all, I'm a total flash *****, and I have to say: that this is absolutely the best wm 6.5 rom out there. I have no complaints. My Alltel tp has never ran so well.

I think you are the last person that needs to be apologizing....thanks for your help and your awesome roms. i'd be lying if i wasn't a little bummed to see this version labeled as "final"....thanks for all your hard work...enjoy the tp2. hopefully i'll be joining you on the other side soon
