Do you have MSVC set up correctly?

Voice Command > Phone > Options > Announce Incoming Calls.

It's worked for many many versions now.

Switching to classic text messaging doesn't seem to work for me. It's staying on the threaded style after a few soft resets and playing around.

Nevermind, wasn't used to the touch flo, it's opening a different message reader than the Start/Internet/Messaging/Text Messages...

On that note the touch flo is exceptionally smooth in my little experience with this rom.

Yes, I have those settings. But it does not announce the incoming caller's name on my TP2. I do not remember, but I think when I had a stock TP1 ROM it also did not announce the caller's name.

My current version on my TP2 is 1.6.21052.

also check that in the settings...notifications page that its set to announce through speaker (3rd option). that is what is set to by default on this rom, a bit annoying for me so i changed mine to announce over bt only

Yeah, and check what tommy said.

Psyki has 1.6.23016 in his rom, which is newer than what you have in the tp2, but I had been running 1.6.20771 prior and it worked in this same fashion.

OH, and just fyi, dont try to install a msvc cab on top of a cooked in version of the rom...it will do bad things..lol.

dude....ive tried everything to get this rom to work correctly....but all that happens is it freezes, then i soft reset, only to have it hard reset....this happend on 0929 also for me....!@#@$%#$%&^ this is so aggravating!

Did you try flashing stock rom first before flashing psyki rom? Dont think the issue you're having is rom specific since its happened to me before with 2 diff roms, both of which were 6.5.

yea...i bet also since im not bashing the rom...i just cant figure out why i cant get it to work correctly, especially since i ive used every single one of psyki's roms. thanks for the jack@$$ comment jack@$$.

i have tried going back to stock, relocking, and going back at it from scratch...i dedicated over 10hrs to it yesterday...i'll have my contacts loaded via my phone, pim backup, or sync...and about 30min-1hr after the phone will freeze...i'll soft reset..and it hard resets
